The holiday season at Disney World is just around the corner, but Disney’s Hollywood Studios is letting us get into the Christmas spirit a little earlier!

If you’re ready to dive into the Christmas season, you need to head over to Hollywood Studios. Three attractions have officially gotten their holiday overlays, and one of them is BRAND NEW! It’s time to rock around the Christmas tree with The Muppets and dash through the snow with the green aliens.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially debuted earlier this year, and now it’s debuting its first-ever holiday overlay. It’s called Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay, and you can check it out right now!

While you’re waiting outside, you get to enjoy rock ‘n’ roll covers of iconic holiday songs. However, the real treat awaits you inside. The pre-show features a TON of Christmas decorations from garland to a Christmas tree. Scooter is ready for the holidays, coming out in his Santa hat.

Under the Christmas tree, we found a bunch of presents. We wonder what the Muppets are getting each other this year! There was also a plate of cookies in the shapes of a shoe, guitar, trumpet, and other fun things. Oh, and they put together a gingerbread house.

Once you get past the pre-show, you’ll find more in the alley part of the queue. For example, you’ll see holiday decor with Gonzo’s items…

…as well as a little snowman and Christmas decor at The Squeakeasy.

Even the countdown screen for the roller coaster had a little holiday twist to it!

At the end of the attraction, you’re greeted with something like a Christmas tree lane — it was gorgeous!

Nothing visually changes inside the actual attraction as you ride, but the roller coaster does feature a new holiday soundtrack. When we rode it, we got Silver Bells by The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper. It was a lot of fun! There are three possible songs you can get on your ride, including:

• “Holiday Road” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
• “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson
• “Silver Bells” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper

Along with those changes, you can also get NEW ride photos with holiday designs. The holiday overlay will be available for guests from now through January 6th, 2027, so you have lots of time to enjoy it.

We mentioned there were three holiday overlays, so let’s jump to the next one we checked out. Alien Swirling Saucers has started playing techno-style Christmas music once again, and you can go jam out on the attraction. This year, the tunes playing are:

• “Toyland”
• “Deck the Halls”
• “Swirling, Swirling Saucers”
• “Joy to the Swirl”

Lastly, you can check out the holiday overlay at Walt Disney Presents!

Inside, you’ll find nods to Disney holiday films, decor, and more.

You can also catch some iconic Disney shorts in the theatre, including On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, and Art of Skiing.
