Disneyland pin collectors looking to grab the first limited-edition holiday drops were sent scrambling when it was revealed that these Pin Tuesday new releases were only available in Downtown Disney and not inside the parks.
November 3 Disneyland Pin Tuesday Releases Not Available in Parks
Disney announced ahead of time that a virtual queue would be in place not only for this month’s Kingdom Hearts pin, but for all nine November 3 Pin Tuesday releases, which included three limited-edition and six limited-release holiday designs.
Typically, Disneyland Pin Tuesday releases are available in these main retail locations:
- 20th Century Music Company in Disneyland Park
- Westward Ho Trading Company in Disneyland Park
- TomorrowLanding in Disneyland Park
- Julius Katz & Sons in Disney California Adventure
- Radiator Springs Curios in Disney California Adventure
- Humphrey’s Service & Supplies in Disney California Adventure
- Pin Traders in Downtown Disney
However, for this week’s Pin Tuesday, the Kingdom Hearts pin was exclusively released at Pin Traders via virtual queue. The other five pins could also be purchased through virtual queue at the same time for pickup at Pin Traders; this was specified on the November 2026 monthly pin release graphic.
According to a Pin Traders Cast Member our reporter spoke with this morning, only the Kingdom Hearts pin was exclusive to Pin Traders, and the other new pin releases were supposed to be available for purchase today without a virtual queue at other pin locations in Disneyland Resort.
That was not the case. Our reporter made their usual rounds to all the Pin Tuesday drop locations inside Disneyland Park, but none of the new pins were available, and not because they were already sold out. A Cast Member at Westward Ho informed our reporter that they did not get any new pin inventory for today and that they will receive “leftovers” from Pin Traders in Downtown Disney in the park tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4.
Guests who had paid park admission were unable to purchase any of the limited-edition and limited-release pins on Pin Tuesday while inside the park.
Cast Members said they expect next week’s Pin Tuesday release to be back to normal, but could not confirm. They also could not confirm whether next month’s Kingdom Hearts and limited-edition pin releases on the first Pin Tuesday of December will also follow this system.
