A fresh batch of decorations has been installed at Cars Land in Disney California Adventure as the parks prepare for the official start of the season next week.
More Christmas Decorations in Cars Land
The first festive decorations arrived in Cars Land earlier this week, when we spotted Snowy the snowcar at the land entrance, holiday garland hung on buildings around the land, and wreaths and trees popping up.
Mater’s Junkyard/Jingle Jamboree is decked out with a Santa hat and rustic garlands, with a red board that says “Jingle” covering “Junkyard” on the sign.
A stack of tires with dollops of snow, wrapped in a garland with traditional holiday lights and ball ornaments, is set up next to the baby tractor “Petting Zoo” photo op. More garlands frame the tractor.
Car-themed parody posters of holiday and winter-themed movies have replaced the usual quartet on the garage doors next to Mater’s. The titles include Snowy, The Lugnutcracker, Coolant Runnings, and The Santa Clutch.
More garlands made of air filters strung together with greenery hang over the Radiator Springs streets. A central white-wall tire is decorated with a red bow and the text “Happy Holidays.”
Sarge’s Surplus is in the spirit, with a patriotic tree out front and green sandbag “trees” atop of displays inside the store.
The Coze Cone is ready for the holidays with its traffic cone-orange decor installed.
Miniature traffic cones dangle from the metallic orange and gold aluminum garland hanging around the lobby. A large outline star made from traffic cone shapes is installed in the foreground.
A tree made of six stacked traffic cones festooned with more orange and gold garland teeters on the front lawn, with a miniature cone star on top.
Another air-filter garland greets you as you head down the street toward Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Flo’s V8 Cafe.
A shimmering tinsel oil can has been attached below Flo’s iconic neon sign.
The air filter garlands continue all around Flo’s restaurant and seating area exteriors.
A small tree adorned with Route 66 signs and rust-topped ornaments is set up outside the recently reopened Radiator Springs Curios.
A tall, teetering tree made of tires welcomes guests to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires, along with a sign for the Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl holiday overlay.
Two frame trees made of lights have popped up on top of Ramone’s House of Body Art, as well as bold purple garlands accented with shiny chrome hubcaps. Ramone’s recently added a live sketch artist experience.
Radiator Springs City Hall has an air-filter wreath and three garlands accented with bright red bows. The bronze statue of Stanley, the town’s founder, has also gained a Santa hat and sack.
The most traditional tree in Radiator Springs, the City Hall tree is covered with hubcaps and oversized primary-colored Christmas balls. Red and white poinsettias in tire-shaped planters surround its base.
