The Disney PhotoPass holiday photo studio is now open at Tinseltown Photos in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Christmas card-ready shots.

Holiday Photo Opportunity at Tinseltown Photos

While we were checking Tinseltown Photos for updates, a Cast Member emerged and updated the Disney PhotoPass sign as we watched. The new, bright red sign advertises a “Holiday Photo Opportunity” from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Inside the photo studio, an old-fashioned Christmas scene awaits with mid-century modern touches.

The classic Christmas tree is trimmed with a silver garland, white lights, multicolored metallic ball ornaments, and a gold star topper.

The framed images on the wall have been covered with wrapping paper-inspired prints featuring candy cane stripes, retro stars, and stylized ornaments in shades of red, blue, and green. Four oversized ornament cutouts also hang in front of the red and white curtained backdrop.

A bookshelf to the right is adorned with holiday cards and present boxes. A wooden sled with “Rosebud” (a nod to Citizen Kane) leans against the wall.

The area rug has the same design as the carpet previously inside the Muppet Vision 3D theater, now closed to become The Glob Theater in Monstropolis. The base of the tree is surrounded by striped presents and a stationary toy train.
