Simply Wall St suggests that recent construction work at Walt Disney World could indicate an expansion of the Disney Skyliner.
Possible Disney Skyliner Expansion

Simply Wall St claims Disney has started a “large infrastructure project” on the western side of the resort. They reference recent changes to Western Way and W Buena Vista Drive near the path of the Disney Skyliner and project documents that describe the integrated work on transportation access and hotel sites that indicate a material long-term investment in on-property mobility and lodging capacity.
The gondola system opened in 2019 and currently connects EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
If Simply Wall St is correct, a Skyliner expansion could travel from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and beyond, maybe even traveling to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney has not announced an expansion of the Disney Skyliner.
