Ken Potrock, the President of Major Events Integration for The Walt Disney Company, received the Charley Award from the CHOC Foundation and Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
Ken Potrock Receives Charley Award

Potrock shared on LinkedIn that he had received the Charley Award. The award is named for Charley Hester, who was a volunteer with CHOC and a philanthropist. The award also recognizes organization and people who share the same spirit as Charley for giving.
In his post, Potrock shared that the relationship between Disneyland Resort and CHOC Children’s goes back to Walt Disney himself.
He also shared his personal feelings about receiving the award, saying, “To have played a part in the impact that work has had on children and families across Southern California is deeply meaningful. In my remarks, I talked about how doing something that matters is its own reward. My parents taught me the value of giving back, and I’m now passing that on to my two sons. If we can inspire others to do the same, that may be the best outcome of all.”
In addition to Potrock, Annika Chase, who is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Disney Experiences for Disneyland Resort, also received the Charley Award for Outstanding Board Member.
This summer, it was also announced that Potrock would retire from The Walt Disney Company in early 2027.
