The Merry Menagerie mural is back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, on the pathway between Discovery Island and Pandora – The World of Avatar.

Guests can find the mural on a gate, often with a PhotoPass photographer stationed nearby. It features the wintry puppets of Merry Menagerie in a colorful swirl around the Tree of Life.

The tree is depicted at day and night, with blue designs on one side of its trunk, inspired by Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition. The animals include arctic foxes, penguins, and polar bears. Various white birds fly over the tree.

In the corners are depictions of the Merry Menagerie-inspired lanterns that adorn Discovery Island shops.

Merry Menagerie is a freestyle interactive performance featuring puppets and live musicians.
It’s expected to return on November 13, the same day as Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition. That date marks the official start of the holiday season at Walt Disney World, although Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights kick off this weekend.
Merry Menagerie pins and more merchandise are already available for purchase.
