The windows of the Emporium at Magic Kingdom have switched from Halloween to Christmas, including Mickey’s Christmas Carol dioramas.
Mickey’s Christmas Carol Windows
The six Mickey’s Christmas Carol dioramas temporarily replace the Disney Princess dioramas on two exterior walls of the Emporium.
Moving figurines bring scenes from the film to life, beginning with Scrooge, Bob Cratchit (Mickey Mouse), and Fred (Donald Duck) at the office. A book below each scene features quotes from the film.
The second scene is set in Scrooge’s home, where he’s confronted by Marley’s Ghost (Goofy).
In the third scene, the Ghost of Christmas Past (Jiminy Cricket) shows Scrooge his younger self at Fezziwig’s with Isabelle (Daisy Duck). Donald’s nephews also make an appearance, decorating a tree.
Around the corner, the next scene introduces the Ghost of Christmas Present (Willie the Giant) enjoying piles of food. Scrooge looks on in shock.
In the fifth diorama, the Ghost of Christmas Future (Pete) looks down at Scrooge dangling in his own grave.
The last scene is a happy ending with Scrooge bringing toys to the Cratchits. Scrooge sits in a rocking chair with Tiny Tim in his lap.
Holiday Window Displays
Other windows of the Emporium are now filled with Christmas merchandise and decorations. “Delivering the Holiday Magic” decals are across the bottom of each window.
In one window, a statue of Mickey dressed as Santa drives a truck full of presents.
The windows also feature images of Mickey’s friends in holiday outfits.
