Have you ever had a marshmallow that reminded you of a corn dog?! That’s exactly the kind of thing you can randomly find at Disney World. We’re always on the hunt for eats and treats, and we’ve come across unique and wonky things many times. It’s part of the fun of trying spots that not many people will go to! So, want to find out what we thought about this thing?
You’ve probably heard us talk about Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort before. It’s a little corn dog stand that you’ll find on the boardwalk, and it seems like they drop new snacks pretty often, because we keep finding ourselves coming back.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
The newest treat at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is the Fried Marshmallow on a Stick, which you can grab for $8.00. It sounds like a normal snack, but it looks like a marshmallow corn dog. That makes sense given the fact that you get it at a corn dog stand.

The snack is so satisfyingly crunchy, while also being super gooey from the marshmallow. We were surprised by how much the marshmallow melted into the pancake batter that surrounded it, but you can really tell with the bite. They also roll the pancake-battered marshmallows in Cocoa Krispis or Cocoa Pebbles, which is where you get the crunchiness from.

It almost feels like somebody’s little kid dreamt this up, and somebody executed it very well. You also get some vanilla flavors, which come through from the marshmallow very well. We wish there was a little bit more chocolate, like maybe they would dust it in real cocoa or something to bring some of that cocoa flavor forward. Even adding a dipping sauce with this so that you would get the chocolate marshmallow combination would be amazing. Otherwise, we did find it runs a little sweet.

We also found that the snack was perfectly shareable, but it is not a sugar bomb like we really thought it was going to be. All in all, this is a super fun treat! If your kids are into marshmallows and you are into taking a bite or two of their treats, we would say to get this at any time. It is a limited edition treat, so make sure to try it before it’s gone!
