Susan Egan, the voice of Megara from Hercules, “spilled the tea” in a confession game while riding Mad Tea Party at Disneyland.
Susan Egan Teacup Confessions
Susan Egan, a Disney Legend, is best known in the Disney canon for her work as the original Belle in the Broadway production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 1994, a performance that earned her a Tony Award nomination. She later lent her voice to Megara in Disney’s 1997 animated film Hercules.
In a running series shared by Disney Parks on Instagram and YouTube, Egan appeared in the latest segment of “Teacup Confessions,” an interview series conducted in the spinning Teacup of the Mad Tea Party at Disneyland.
During the interview, Egan was asked questions like, “What was her favorite Disneyland attraction?” to which she answered, coincidentally, “The Teacups.”
She also shared that being a Disney Legend feels like being “punked”, claiming that she still can’t believe it and that she is astounded at the title.
Egan also shared that she would like to duet with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the song “You’re Welcome” from Moana.
One of the last questions she was asked was, “What is your favorite Disneyland memory?” Egan responded by sharing her childhood memories of going to Disneyland with her brother, sister, and mom on school days when the lines were just a little bit shorter.
In other Disney news, Susan Egan recently performed during the concert presented by the Disney Wish to celebrate the reveal of the Disney Believe on Wednesday, October 7.
