Attention Disney Channel fans of all ages: the hunt is over. After weeks of searching various Disney World stores, from the Emporium at Magic Kingdom to Celebrity 5&10 at Hollywood Studios, I finally found all of the Phineas and Ferb bag charms!
These cute little things have eluded me for far too long, so I am thrilled to see them all together. Recently, I would run into the stray single Phineas or Ferb at the checkout counters of some of the major Disney World stores, but never the full set. I feel like the moral of this story is that if you are ever looking for something specific, you are likely to find it at Disney Springs.
Disney Springs is the home of World of Disney, the largest Disney store in (not just Orlando) but the whole world. Each time I am searching for a specific item or accessory, World of Disney is always able to supply it. Being the largest Disney store comes with having the largest selection. The building is even divided into sections so that you might be able to see everything- from homeware to seasonal items to apparel to toys.
It was near the front, towards the checkout line, that I spotted a rack of keychains, bag charms, and pins. This area always has fun and cute finds, but immediately my eyes tracked the signature silhouettes of my favorite childhood characters.
Each of these plush bag charms is sold for $19.99 each, meaning that to get the full set of four, it would cost about 80 dollars. I don’t find that price point to be bad at all, especially when compared to the price of some of the other Disney plush bag charms sold in blind boxes. This way you are guaranteed to get the one you want, and for less! I, personally, was looking for Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz as I had yet to find him at any of the other theme park stores, and knew that this silly supervillain belonged on my purse.
I think these are just perfect, and I am so happy to see some of my favorite Disney Channel cartoons growing up getting some recognition in merchandise. One thing about me you can count on is that I will always fall for nostalgia. Next, I am hoping they do a set of Alex Russo merchandise so I can fully theme my outfits after her for the rest of my life.
So, my fellow Phineas and Ferb fans, this is your sign to RUN to Disney Springs World of Disney to get your own bag charm. I feel like this makes the perfect gift for your sibling so that the two of you might be able to match with Phineas and Ferb! Or you can be like me and match with Perry the Platypus and Doofenshmirtz. Which one are you getting?
