We’re taking in all the sights and sounds of Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish!
That’s right — we’ve set sail on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship! This ship is massive, and there are so many fun activities and attractions we want to show you. So today, we’re inviting you to come with us on a galactic adventure to the Hyperspace Lounge!
We’ve entered the Star Wars-themed Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Wish! This lounge features “otherworldly concoctions” and interactive tasting experiences, all in a sleek space that looks out of this world.
Atmosphere
Welcome to the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge!
The second we walked in, we felt as though we were transported onto a lavish star cruiser, similar to Dryden Vos’ ship in Solo.
It’s very Star Wars, but also very lounge-y, too. Although the bar is small, there is plenty of seating inside, both at the bar and at tables with chairs, as well as booths.
Thanks to the virtually-enhanced “windows,” we were able to journey through different planets, like Tatooine, Batuu, Endor, Coruscant, and Mustafar. A new planet is shown every 7 minutes! Oh, and did we mention the “windows” show you over 40 different spaceships from the Star Wars franchise?!
When the “ship” jumps into hyperspace to travel to a new planet, you see that in the window as well.
At Hyperspace Lounge, guests have the option of purchasing three different souvenir cups. The cups look very similar to the souvenir cups on the Galactic Starcruiser, but these are Wish branded for $12 each. The two cups on the right are for alcoholic drinks, while the Porg cup is made for non-alcoholic beverages.
There are some interactive drink experiences here as well, and we got to check out this fancy smoking contraption before trying one of our drinks!
Of course, we didn’t just come for the theming. We also came for the galactic drinks!
We dove right in!
Drinks
So what’s really cool about this lounge is that all the bottles being used for drinks here have Hyperspace Lounge-specific labels — with each being its own spirit. The theming here is ON POINT.
If you’ve got plenty of cash laying around, there’s also a $5000 drink at the Hyperspace Lounge. It’s called a Kaiburr Crystal comes served in a camtono, but that price gets you more than just a cool drink.
The $5,000 Kaiburr Crystal on the #DisneyWish is an experience that also includes a visit to Skywalker Ranch and a special themed escort off the ship.

You also get the four silver cups that the drink comes with, along with a Star Wars backpack, water bottle, other gifts, and a room decoration that is themed to Hyperspace Lounge. PLUS you get a bottle of sparkling wine from Skywalker Ranch AND a voucher for 1 person to visit Skywalker Ranch. Note that we did NOT try this one!
However, we did try the other drinks, starting with the Spire Sunset for $15, which is made with Saigon Bagur, Kumquat, Lychee, and Coconut. We’re just going to tell you that this was the drink our whole team agreed on as the favorite! It’s both sweet and tart, but not to the point that it’s overwhelming. Very smooth and delicious!
The Berken’s Flow ($16) has SelvaRey Coconut, Rumchata, Godiva Chocolate, and Coconut Water in it — PLUS the Disney Wish is written on top of it in an edible ink that glows under a blacklight.

So it looks GREAT, but it was SO sweet, like WAY too sweet. If you like sweet drinks, this one might be for you, but it was a bit much for us.
We also tried The Chancellor for $20, made with Hennessy James, and Calvados Menorval 1972. Like the Chancellor Palpatine (later Emperor), it was smoky and harsh.
The Golden One for $15 is made with Belvedere Blackberry & Lemongrass, Amaretto Velvet. This is basically an alcoholic, drinkable Creamsicle, so we thought it was great! It’s sweet, but not too much because you get a nice tang from the citrus flavors in it.
The Asteroid Belt for $16 is made with Código 1530 Artesenal Mezcal, Cointreau Blood Orange, and Bailey’s Salted Caramel. Interesting, right? Honestly, we thought we’d hate it, but it was actually pretty alright! It’s got some smokiness from the mezcal, but the Bailey’s smooths it out.
Finally, the Freetown Reserve for $20 is made with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. another fun drink. It starts with a blue sparkling ice cube (it’s an ice cube with edible glitter in it!).
Then it’s poured over the top of the cube and it gets SMOKY. It’s another drink that looks cool, but flavor-wise, it was very biting and HARSH.
Whew — that’s a lot of drinks, but we had to try everything to get you all the deets!
Overall
Overall, we think adults will love this spot! You get to jump through different planets while sipping on otherworldly concoctions. It doesn’t get much better than that. The drinks are fun, and there should be something here to please just about anyone who likes cocktails. If you want a little taste of the Galactic Starcruiser but don’t want to pay for that experience, this was pretty similar in feel.
