Disney is introducing a new feature to their My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps that will help guests find their cars in parking lots.
The complimentary car locator feature presented by State Farm will launch at Walt Disney World this summer. It will be available at Disneyland Resort later this year.
The car locator uses location technology to find and save your parking details. It will be available at all four Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, Disney Water Parks, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The feature functions best with location services, Bluetooth, and notifications enabled. To access the feature, guests will be able to open the My Disney Experience app and tap the car locator card on the home screen or in the three-lined hamburger menu. After that, they can follow the prompts to enter their parking information. With location services on, the car locator can help fill in the details. When leaving, open the car locator again for the parking information.
