Progress on TRON Lightcycle / Run at Walt Disney World is full steam ahead. Tracks have been added to the tunnel for Walt Disney Railroad and testing has begun for the ride. In this update for the upcoming attraction, we see continued construction on the railroad tracks, walkways, and vehicle testing.
The top of the Walt Disney Railroad World Railroad tunnel can be seen over the green fence.
This new archway frames what is speculated to be either an entrance to the attraction or a locker room for guests to put their loose items. Construction activity has apparently moved inside the building.
Construction crews have built a wall to separate these areas and a make-shift ladder to cross between.
We can spot vehicle testing on the tracks from Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
The other side of the railroad tunnel can be seen running underneath one of the walkways.
A crew is working on the wooden railings that run along the walkway to Storybook Circus. The attraction vehicles, themed to look like lightbikes, can be seen on the lower level.
A different angle allows us to see inside the railroad tunnel and the work being done with the new lighting inside.
The canopy, or Upload Conduit as it is called now, is still receiving some final touches. No doubt this ride will be open soon!
