This week we take a trip out to Disney’s Typhoon on a perfect hot summer day! Join us as we ride some rides, try some food, and have fun!
CROWD LEVELS AND RIDES
Making our way into the park, we noticed things weren’t too busy! All of the wait times were posted at 15 minutes or less, except for the Storm Slides, which were 30 minutes. Throughout the day, we were able to get on 5 slides. All of the wait times seemed to be accurate, except for Crush ‘N’ Gusher, which was a little over the posted wait time. All in all though, wait times were low for summer peak crowds! If you’re planning on waiting in lines, be sure to bring a pair of water shoes or flip flops; the ground can get very hot, especially if there’s a long wait!
FOODS!
During our day, we were able to try a couple food options from the park! Starting off the day for lunch, we made our way to Leaning Palms restaurant for lunch! Here we got the Island Crunch Chicken Sandwich (top); a Breaded Chicken Filet with Pickled Vegetables, Shredded Lettuce, and Chipotle-Ranch Dressing on a Brioche Bun. The sandwich was very good! Not the best chicken sandwich ever, but still very solid.
On our way out we were craving a sweet treat, so we stopped by the Mini Donuts stand! We got a half-dozen sugared donuts with chocolate dipping sauce (bottom). These were a bit pricey at $7.50 for 6 Mini Donuts, but they were very good. The Chocolate Sauce was very rich and tasted almost like Dark Chocolate.
It was a short but fun-packed day at Disney’s Typhoon lagoon! We were only there for a few hours, but were still able to get lots done! Thanks for joining us again, and we’ll see you next week!
