It’s finally time to celebrate the (not-so) spookiest celebration in Walt Disney World! Join us as we costume up, collect candy, and explore Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Trick-or-Treat Trail.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event, meaning regular theme park tickets will not grant you admission. Costumes for all ages are encouraged, but you can read Disney’s costume guidelines here.
Treat bags and candy is included with admission, as well as many special Halloween shows, meet and greets, and Halloween twists on certain attractions. Check out the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Guide Map here!
The omnibus is parked on Main Street, directing traffic to the party.
You can pick up either a black or allergy-friendly teal treat bag from a cast member on your way into the celebration.
Wristband Distribution
The first step of participating in trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom is to get your wristband for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! If you arrive at 4 p.m. or later, you can get your wristband just inside the tapstiles.
If you’re already inside the park, there are four locations at which you can obtain a wristband. Only three locations have the “Wristband Distribution” signs, but you can also get one from Liberty Square Ticket Office. The image above shows the sign outside of Fantasy Faire in Fantasyland.
Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland will provide a wristband to the party.
Another location for wristbands is in Tomorrowland near Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
Regardless of which location you check in to receive your wristband, it’s time for the Trick-or-Treat Trail!
Trick-or-Treat Locations
There are a total of 14 different locations to trick-or-treat in the Magic Kingdom.
The map will show orange lollipops at each trick-or-treat location. The teal allergy-friendly centers are places to turn in teal tokens to receive special treats.
These glowing (in the dark) M&M towers are the mark of a candy location.
Food Allergies
If you are trick-or-treating with a food allergy, you can grab a teal bag for an allergy-friendly experience.
When it gets dark out, and you’re trick-or-treating, point out to a cast member that you are carrying a teal bag for the allergy-friendly option.
Instead of receiving candy, cast members will hand out teal tokens to eliminate the chances of cross-contamination.
Turn in the teal tokens to Liberty Square Ticket Office after completing the Trick-or-Treat Trail for allergy-friendly treats.
Allergy-Friendly Options
Cast members will help assist in selecting treats based on a guest’s allergies. Smarties, Werther’s Caramels, sugar free gummy bears, sunflower butter cups, sugar free lollipops, and gluten intolerant options are included.
You are able to look at all options with ingredients listed before making a decision.
Let’s Boo This 50th Anniversary Treat Bag
If you are not in need of the allergy-friendly option, black bags are provided, or you may bring your own. This year’s complimentary bag has Mickey in his vampire costume with “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party” and “Let’s Boo This” on one side.
The back has the 50th anniversary logo.
The side of the back has another 50th anniversary print.
Enjoy collecting candy along the Trick-or-Treat Trail!
