- It’s not too early to plan for the holidays, according to Universal Orlando Resort. They announced that their holiday season will begin on November 12, 2022, and run through January 1, 2023.
Universal Studios Florida
- Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida draws closer and closer to reopening (though no official date has been announced), and we can now confirm that Brendan Fraser has not been removed from the ride.
- With the kickoff to Halloween Horror Nights 31 just weeks away, the first of the food booths have emerged at Universal Studios Florida.
- With just weeks to go before Halloween Horror Nights 31 overtakes Universal Studios Florida, even more set pieces are being installed around the park for the event.
- Things were looking up for Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida after the construction walls were removed, extended queue set up, and Team Members training. However, it looks like the curse is real, because the ride encountered more delays on the road to reopening.
- Set construction at Halloween Horror Nights 31 is heating up at Universal Studios Florida, with pieces and food booths expanding overnight.
- Things might be finally looking up for Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida, since Team Members were invited to ride the coaster today.
- If you plan on visiting Springfield for a Big Pink Donut on your next trip to Universal Studios, bring a little more spending money than planned.
Universal’s Epic Universe
- If you’ve been following Universal Orlando Resort news and rumors for a long time, this will probably sound familiar: Universal is reportedly developing a KUKA arm ride based around the classic Monsters for Epic Universe.
Universal Orlando CityWalk
- CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort is implementing some new rules after the entire shopping, dining, and entertainment area was completely evacuated due to a fight and resulting shooting scare.
- New Death Eater-inspired merchandise, including a Draco Malfoy plush, has arrived at Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal Studios Hollywood
- Universal Studios Hollywood Annual Passholders are currently able to RSVP to a Special Effects Show to take place August 28 at 6:15 p.m.
- Universal Studios Hollywood is preparing for its annual Pass Member Appreciation Days event with some special deals and benefits — including one particularly interesting new service.
- Halloween Horror Nights is less than a month away, and Universal Studios Hollywood is revealing more and more of their haunted houses, including the rumored La Llorona house.
- A new shop has opened on the Lower Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood. Not far from the Warp Pipe that will take guests into Super Nintendo World in early 2023, the Character Shop features much of the merchandise we’ve seen in the other shops which sell souvenirs featuring Mario and friends.
Entertainment and Media
- While we wait for Revenge of the Mummy to finally reopen at Universal Studios Florida, we’re planning our “The Mummy”-inspired outfits for our next spin on the coaster. Her Universe has a small collection of “The Mummy” apparel now available online.
