Mac & Eats is the booth that everyone has been waiting for, well, maybe just me, who knows, but it is now open at Food & Wine. Let’s take a look at the menu, shall we?
Mac & Eats Menu
- Traditional Macaroni & Cheese with herbed panko (Emile’s Fromage Montage) – $5.00
- Cowboy Macaroni & Cheese with smoked pork belly, brisket burnt ends, pickled peppers, onion straws, and barbecue aïoli (Emile’s Fromage Montage) – $6.25
- Chili-Cheese Macaroni & Cheese with sour cream and cheddar cheese (New) (Plant-based) (Emile’s Fromage Montage) – $5.50
This booth opened on August 15th, along with numerous others. Coastal Eats opened right next door, and there was no line at that booth, but the line at Mac & Eats was packed. After entering EPCOT, I made a mad dash to that booth to grab some mac and cheese because, lucky me, they have a plant-based dish!
I got the Chili-Cheese Macaroni & Cheese, and it was great. It is a new item at this booth, and I’m glad it’s here. In this dish, there are pieces of chips that resemble Fritos. They add the perfect amount of crunch to the dish. I was worried the chili flavor wouldn’t come through, but it did! EPCOT never fails when it comes to its plant-based dishes, like ever. I rate this dish a 10 out of 10 because it was flavorful, filling, and $5.50.
I kept hearing people rave about the Cowboy Macaroni and Cheese, so for those who eat meat, please go get it. It smelled delicious and sounded like its worth the $6.25.
