Buzz Lightyear suffered a costume malfunction during Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights this week.

Twitter user @mo_dona21 shared a video of Buzz atop the parade’s “Toy Story” float. His chest plate had fallen off earlier in the parade, but he was carrying on waving and dancing with the black padding of his suit exposed.

The chest plate sat on the floor of the platform nearby. The arm pieces and jetpack of his costume remained on. It likely would have been dangerous for the performer to try to reach the chest plate and reattach it while the parade was still going, but the missing piece gives Buzz a funny look.
