TODAY Cafe is a great spot to grab a bite to eat while visiting Universal Studios Florida and now you can find some spooky new treats added to the menu for Halloween. Even if you aren’t attending Halloween Horror Nights, you can still pop into TODAY Cafe at anytime and grab an eyeball. Take a look at what lurks inside the snack case.
Coconut Yuzu Eyeball – $5.99
If you find yourself eyeballing the snack case, something may be eyeballing you back. TODAY Cafe has successfully achieved maximum creepiness. This dessert indeed looks like a giant eyeball, complete with red blood splatters and veins. A slice of kiwi and dark chocolate are set atop the yuzu coconut dome to give the appearance of the pupil.
The consistency is firm and dense, yet soft and creamy. Sweet, slightly tart flavors take over at the first bite. This really gives us more of a summer vibe than fall. The coconut taste isn’t too overpowering, making this a very creamy and simple snack.
High Gate Cemetery Marble Cake – $4.99
What a treat this cake slice was! The flavor combination really reminded us of a Snickers candy bar. There’s a thin layer of peanuts and caramel between chocolate cake and buttercream icing.
The little chocolate bat decoration is just too cute. It’s perched atop a large dollop of buttercream frosting.
This cake is fantastic and we highly recommend you give it a try. If you’re a fan of Snickers, the High Gate Cemetery Cake is for you.
Hallows Eve Caramel Apple Pop Tart – $4.49
For some reason, this dessert looked the most boring of the four but it was by far our favorite. Don’t sleep on this one. Every part of this treat is perfection.
The white chocolate skeleton hand reaching out of the coffin is a nice touch.
The pastry is soft and flaky with a crunchy sugar coating on the outside. We could go on and on about how perfect this pastry is, but we encourage you to try it and find out for yourself. The caramel and apple filling inside was perfection. Top it all off with a sweet icing and you have the best dessert at TODAY Cafe.
“The Ether” Cookies and Cream Mousse – $ 5.99
The Ether cookies and cream mousse is a simple treat from TODAY Cafe that has gotten dressed up for spooky season with a white chocolate spider web.
This dome contains chocolate and cookies and cream filling. Chocolate lovers will enjoy this rich snack.
TODAY Cafe is a nice place to take a break from the crowds and grab a quick snack indoors. These Halloween treats are available all day, so be sure to stop by and give them a try even if you’re not attending Halloween Horror Nights.
