Universal Orlando Resort remains closed today, September 29, as Hurricane Ian continues to make its way across the state. In addition to flooding in the area, the hurricane has punched a hole into the ride building for Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Jeff Allen at News 13 shared a video of partially submerged cars outside the entrance to the DoubleTree at Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal Orlando Resort guest Kristen Tessendorf shared this photo of Jurassic Park River Adventure from her hotel room. Paneling has been torn off the side of the building, near the drop.
We saw Team Members preparing for the hurricane earlier this week. Hopefully, there has been no other significant damage.
