Previously, although guests enjoyed the all-you-care-to-eat ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, they did so without Lilo, Stitch, and friends. The characters have returned, making breakfast just a little more special.
This morning we caught the debut return of Lilo, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto. They parade around intermittently throughout breakfast with Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, the main song from the film “Lilo & Stitch,” playing in the background.
Carrying two ‘uli’uli-like instruments accented with red and yellow decorations, Lilo made her grand return in her signature red muumuu embellished with large white leaves, a white-flowered lei around her neck, and a red hibiscus flower in her hair.
Lilo was accompanied by Mickey Mouse carrying a pu’ili, a bamboo stick with a split end. This percussion instrument is used during the hula dance and other traditional Hawaiian chants and dances.
Lilo’s blue “dog,” Stitch – also shaking two ‘uli’uli-like instruments, made his return and was visiting everyone at ‘Ohana this morning.
Since Lilo had her “pet dog,” Mickey Mouse brought along his trusted friend Pluto as well.
Breakfast, which is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., is priced at $45 per adult and $29 per child, plus tax and gratuity.
All-You-Care-to-Enjoy ‘Ohana Breakfast
The breakfast, influenced by Polynesian flavors, is offered as a regular menu or a plant-based menu. Both menus also offer an allergy-friendly option.
We reviewed the full menu last summer when ‘Ohana reopened, including all the alcoholic beverage options. Check out our full review here.
POG Juice
The regular menu features POG Juice (passion fruit, orange, and guava juice) and a variety of fresh fruit.
Fresh Fruit
Pineapple-Coconut Bread
Freshly made Pineapple-Coconut Breakfast Bread is also served. Guests who order the plant-based skillet receive a cinnamon-sugar donut.
‘Ohana Breakfast Skillet
Scrambled Eggs, Pork Breakfast Sausage Links, Hawaiian-style Ham topped with Pineapple Compote, Fried Island-style Potatoes, Mickey-shaped Waffles, Biscuits
The plant-based option includes scrambled “eggs,” “sausage,” fried Island-style potatoes, and character-shaped waffles. The allergy-friendly options for both menus detail which items are appropriate for which allergies.
Although Mickey Waffles are served virtually everywhere at the resort, they always seem better here.
