As we prepare to wish you the merriest holiday season from over here at Tokyo Disney Resort, we’ve received word of a new popcorn bucket headed to the parks starting November 1! But this bucket is particularly special, in that it bears resemblance to one we’ve seen before elsewhere.
Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket – ¥3000 ($20.73)
This lovely new bucket features a fairly-detailed Christmas tree with ornaments around depicting icons like gingerbread houses, snowmen, and reindeer among others. Mickey Mouse dressed in a Santa outfit holds out a gift next to two other presents. The strap is primarily red on one side and green on the other. The strap reads “Wishing you a magical Christmas full of joy and happiness.”
If you feel like this design is familiar, that’s because a very similar design was sold at Walt Disney World and Disneyland during the 2019 holiday season.
The other bucket was less detailed and featured light-up elements as well as only a Santa hat on Mickey Mouse.
The new bucket will be sold at carts across Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea starting November 1, as well as at The Big Pop in Tomorrowland.
