The holiday season has officially started at Walt Disney World. As we saw earlier, decorations went up at Magic Kingdom. While that was happening, construction began on the iconic Grand Floridian Lobby Gingerbread House.
Construction crews have started to lay the foundation, but once the structure’s exterior is completed, it will look magnificent and smell delicious. I am really curious if they will use the same look as last year since we are still in the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
I noticed cameras around the Gingerbread House, which hints at them making a timelapse of the progress. Hopefully, one day soon, we can all see that timelapse. In past years the house has been completed by the second week of November, so that means next week, we might see a gorgeous, delicious-smelling Gingerbread House in the lobby. For now, guests will see white flooring laid out and large wooden slabs in the roped-off area.
Will you be visiting the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian this year? Let us know!
