We’ve definitely been enjoying the snacks and ice cream available at Disney’s Beach Club Resort recently.

But, there is one amenity that guests at Disney’s Beach Club Villas have not been able to enjoy since the reopening, and now we’ve got some news about when it will be available!

One of the best parts of Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts is Stormalong Bay— the Resorts’ signature pool. This is anything but your standard resort pool. Stormalong Bay is essentially a mini-water park that has a sand-bottomed pool, a lazy river, a 230-foot-long waterside, and even three whirlpool spas!

Earlier this year, it was announced that Stormalong Bay would not reopen with Disney’s Beach Club Villas. Instead, guests at Disney’s Beach Club Villas were invited to visit the leisure pool at Disney’s Beach Club Villas, as well as the Luna Park Pool and leisure pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas.

But, now, we’ve got an official reopening date for Stormalong Bay! According to the Walt Disney World website for Disney’s Beach Club Villas, Stormalong Bay will reopen on August 24.

The Yacht Club is also scheduled to reopen on August 24, so this timing works out nicely. Guests of Disney’s Beach Club Villas may continue to use the leisure pool and Luna Park Pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, along with the leisure pool at the Beach Club Villas, prior to Stormalong Bay’s reopening.

It does appear that the Beach Club guests’ ability to use the BoardWalk Inn pools will end once Stormalong Bay reopens.We will let you know what we find out as we get closer to the reopening date.
