It’s finally almost time for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic!
The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is returning to the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels this year on November 11th and 12th. We were invited to the sneak peek media event to taste some of the delicious food ahead of time, and there’s no way we were going to leave you behind!
The event is held on the Causeway (and its adjacent spaces). The event brings together food and beverages from the hotel’s 17+ eateries and local products to entertain guests.
The Food & Wine Classic will take place between Friday, November 11th, and Saturday, November 12th, 2022. The event runs from 5:30-9PM on both days. Tickets are available now, and more information (such as full menus!) can be found on our Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic Page. We were invited to a special media event to try out this year’s dishes before the event officially opens to the public, so let’s get into what our experience was like!
Atmosphere
Although the main event will be held on the Causeway, the media preview was indoors. We were greeted by a host who had details about the various seminars and wine tastings that are available as part of the event.
There was also a display of wine to check out! (It is the Food and WINE Classic, after all.)
And before we get into the eats, just look at this VIEW!
Okay, NOW we can get to the eats. Various restaurants from the Swan and Dolphin hotels (as well as the new Swan Reserve hotel) contribute with specialty dishes for the occasion.
Food
Our first stop was the Amare booth!
This one had a Chargrilled Chicken Souvlaki, with crispy potatoes, tabbouleh, spiced hummus, and warm pita bread.
Next, we visited the Shula’s booth! Here, you can find Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, with roasted organic mushrooms, pearl onions, and sauce foyot.
On to the Rosa Mexicano booth!
Here, we found Roasted Mushroom Taco Shitake with cremini, oyster blend, pasilla chile, green apple slaw, sliced avocado, and queso fresco, all served on a corn tortilla.
The Il Mulino booth had Baked Ricotta Cheese Custard, served with carrots, radishes, tomatoes, and pine nut “gremolata.”
The Cabana booth had an interesting dish — it was compressed late-harvest watermelon with spiced labneh, marinated tomatoes, frisee, and marinated feta cheese.
Now on to the bluezoo booth!
This was Dynamite Shrimp, which came with tempura fried crispy seasoned sushi rice, fried shishito peppers, and a tentsuyu sauce.
Rounding out our tour of the booths was the dessert booth! There were various pastries here.
You could try a banana split tart with nitro vanilla ice cream; a 66% dark chocolate tart with basil white chocolate cream, candied lemon zest, and a fried basil leaf; white peach-red currant melba with almond cake crumbs and peach meringue drops; or pumpkin hazelnut cheesecake with a gingered cranberry compote.
These booths and more will be part of the Food & Wine Classic when it opens next week! Tickets are now on sale for this event, so grab them before they’re gone.

Disclosure: In nearly all circumstances, Disney Food Blog writers and photographers pay full price for their own travel, hotel, food, beverage, and event tickets. We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Today, we were invited by the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels to attend their media preview of the Food & Wine Classic. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
