Do you ever think there’s anything more to life than really, really, ridiculously delicious Disney snacks?

Yeah, we don’t either. From coast to coast, we’re trying all the festive holiday treats in the parks and resorts, and now it’s time to check out a new treat that sounds like it should be a drink — but it isn’t. So, come with us to Disneyland to see what it’s all about!

A TON of holiday eats and drinks have arrived at Disneyland Resort — so of course, we have to try them out! We’re heading over to Stage Door Cafe in Disneyland Park to try a dessert that sounds like it should be a drink. The Peppermint Mocha Funnel Cake is a funnel cake with cold brew sauce, and topped with chocolate sauce, peppermint dust, and whipped topping for $9.49.

First of all, this was one of the most perfectly cooked funnel cakes we’ve ever had — it was perfectly crispy on the outside but still light and fluffy on the inside, and it didn’t get soggy under all the sauce and toppings. The whipped cream had a great flavor and wasn’t too sweet or artificial tasting, and we loved how loaded this thing was with crushed peppermint!

The chocolate sauce was incredibly sweet and ultimately overpowered the cold brew sauce that we really wanted more of. Instead of this being a peppermint mocha, it was mostly just peppermint and chocolate — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but we were really hoping for some of that coffee flavor to come through more and make this dessert just that much more interesting.

It was a great portion size and could easily be shared between two or three people — or keep it all to yourself, because we’d definitely get this funnel cake again!
