Thanksgiving week is here, so it’s time to plan your perfect Disney Springs holiday visit. I am sure many of you are starting to prep and perfect the menu for Thursday night, but you deserve a break. Please sit back, relax, and let’s talk Disney Springs, the holiday edition.
Disney just released a list of festive activities that will surely make you feel jolly this holiday season. Get those planners out and jot down the activities you want to participate in.
Meet Santa
When arriving at Disney Springs, guests can join a virtual queue to meet the jolliest of all, Santa Claus. He is currently greeting guests at Once Upon a Toy until December 24th. It’s important to note that this offering is subject to availability because of the virtual queue.
Entertainment
This is how Disney describes the entertainment found throughout the area.
Town Center in Disney Springs is transformed into a winter wonderland with nightly snowfall. As a former northerner-turned-Floridian, this is one of my favorite holiday touches! Snow in 75-degree weather? That’s my kind of winter. Be sure to also keep an eye out for jolly live entertainment across Disney Springs – including merry musical acts, toy soldier stilt walkers and more.
The nightly snowfall is always magical; even though it may not be real snow, it is exciting to see it fall from the sky. The various stilt walkers found at Disney Springs are very talented and add an extra layer to the holiday fun.
Holiday Shopping!
I don’t know about you, but I could spend hours walking through stores and window shopping. This time of the year, as I wander the shops, I make a list of what could make for great gifts for my family. I don’t do all my holiday shopping here, but I do like that some stores let me use my annual pass discount.
Head to @DisneySprings on Instagram for this year’s Holiday Gift Guide. You can browse through the categories saved in the highlights on our page or stay tuned to our Instagram stories throughout the season. You’ll also find plenty of merry merchandise across Disney Springs, including some of my favorite new holiday lines like the Mickey Mouse Vintage Christmas Collection and the Disney Homestead Winter Collection – available at World of Disney.
This year’s Christmas merchandise is adorable, and I wish I could snag the entire collection, but I know I can’t. Hopefully, I can get a pair of ears and a sweater before the season ends.
Christmas Tree Stroll
The Christmas Tree Stroll is a fun activity in which the whole family can participate. There are 20 trees placed throughout Disney Springs, and each tree is highly themed to a beloved movie. This year, they have added an extra layer to the scavenger hunt, and now guests can use the Play Disney Parks app to enhance the experience.
The fan-favorite Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is back again this year with 20 themed Christmas trees! Pick up a map from one of the distribution locations: City Works Eatery & Pour House, Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers, Planet Hollywood, The BOATHOUSE or UNIQLO and stroll around Disney Springs to discover all the beautifully trimmed trees. When you’re done, bring your completed map back to one of the distribution locations for a special surprise. And new this year – you can experience some extra holiday fun on the Play Disney Parks app with Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll and holiday trivia. Download the app and play along! Message, data and roaming rates may apply.

Holiday Treats and Food
Last but not least, holiday food. Disney Springs has some of the best food on property and delicious festive treats. Personally, my favorite way to celebrate is by trying all the fun Christmas foods and snacks.
the teams at Disney Springs have been as busy as elves at the North Pole, cooking up some seasonal delights. You can start making your list and checking it twice with the Holiday Delights Foodie Guide. And don’t worry, I’ll throw all you “it’s not the holidays until after Thanksgiving” crew a wishbone with the Thanksgiving Foodie Guide. There are plenty of goodies to enjoy all season long at Disney Springs and beyond!
