Just in time for the holiday season, scrim has been removed from the front of Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The store has remained open while the exterior was refurbished for the past several weeks.
The scrim previously covered the top of the building. Construction walls remain around the first floor, but the store is still open.
The top of the building is visible again. The colors are popping following the refurbishment.
There are also signs for “Lucky Monkey” and “World’s Finest Jewelry” on the building.
The balconies hold props and set pieces, like a bird in a cage looking down at guests.
The Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe is open year-round. Guests can also find holiday merchandise in Universal Studios Stores, the Holiday Tribute Department Store, and — for some extra creepy merch — the All Hallows Eve Krampus Boutique (the park’s year-round Halloween store). Check out some of the holiday merchandise from Universal Orlando Resort:
- Earl the Squirrel Shirts Scurry into Universal Orlando Resort
- New Coca-Cola Holiday Freestyle Cup and Drink Carriers Arrive at the Universal Orlando Resort
- New Earl the Squirrel Plush, Tumbler, and Ornament Herald the Holiday Season at Universal Orlando Resort
