You’ve read all the lists, watched all the videos, and know exactly which snacks you’re going to get when you’re in the Disney World parks.

There’s just one problem — Disney World doesn’t end just at the park gates. Some of our absolute favorite foods are hiding, and sometimes in the unlikeliest of places. Say goodbye to Mickey Premium Bars and popcorn because we’re sharing eight amazing Disney snacks you won’t find in the theme parks!

Not all Disney snacks are created equally, and not all of them can be found in the parks! The next time you find yourself wandering around the Disney World Resort hotels, give these iconic snacks a try.

Noodles from ‘Ohana

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: ‘Ohana noodles are one of our favorite things to eat in all of Disney World. These delicious little ribbons of savory goodness are always on our “best snacks” lists for a reason! They’re salty and sweet, and have a really great soy flavor to them.

You’ll find them as part of your meal at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but pro tip: you can get them at Tambu Lounge as well! That way you don’t have to wait around or worry about having to get a dining reservation at ‘Ohana (which can be tough!).

Mickey Beignets from Scat Cat’s Club Cafe

We’re headed on down to New Orleans — okay, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort anyway — for this sweet treat. We love stopping by Scat Cat’s Club Cafe and grabbing some Mickey Beignets. You’ll typically find a specialty beignet on the menu, but there’s nothing wrong with the old classic.

These babies are warm, fluffy, and have the perfect amount of powdered sugar on them — which is coincidentally also the perfect amount of powdered sugar to get allllllll over your clothes. The Mickey Beignets are worth it, though, you can trust us on this one.

Onion Rings from Steakhouse 71

Steakhouse 71 opened up at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in 2021 and has been one of our more recent favorite spots to escape the chaos that can be Magic Kingdom. As you can probably guess, steaks are their specialty, but there’s also a stellar burger on the menu, and a solid French Onion Soup as well. However, the Steakhouse 71 onion rings are the next snack to join this list.

They’re coated in Panko breadcrumbs before being fried, so the outer breading is incredibly light and crispy. The onions on the inside are well cooked and not slimy like you sometimes find with onion rings. Oh, and these are truly some steakhouse-sized onion rings.

Pulled Pork Nachos from Capt. Cook’s

Back over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Capt. Cook’s is another quick-service spot with some seriously good eats — mainly, the Pulled Pork Nachos. Yes, you read that correctly. These are made with Poly Chips (homemade potato and wonton chips) topped with cheese, spicy mayonnaise, pico de gallo, and pineapple salsa.

There’s just something about the salty, savory pork combined with the melty cheese and sweetness of the pineapple salsa that makes these chips unlike anything we’ve had in Disney World. These are another great snack worth leaving Magic Kingdom for if you’re looking for a break.

Macaroni and Cheese from Gasparilla Island Grill

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of the fanciest hotels on property, but there’s still a quick-service spot that serves up some really great food — Gasparilla Island Grill. And, they happen to have some pretty stellar Macaroni and Cheese!

This stuff is incredibly creamy and cheesy, and has that rich flavor that makes a mac and cheese so good. Sometimes mac and cheese can be kind of gluey and be pretty bland — but we’ve never found that to be the case here!

Zebra Domes from Boma

If you’re looking for a dining experience that isn’t like any other you’ll find in Disney World, head over to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boma is one of our favorite table-service restaurants that serves up delicious African-inspired dishes — and Zebra Domes.

So what exactly is a Zebra Dome? It’s an Amarula Cream Liquor mousse surrounded by a layer of white chocolate, which is drizzled with chocolate and chocolate shavings. And underneath it all is a thin base of cake. If you’re a fan of tiramisu, you’ll love these little bites.

No Way Jose Sundae from Beaches & Cream

Over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you’ll find an adorable soda fountain-style restaurant called Beaches & Cream. And on that menu is the No Way Jose Sundae. This is a peanut butter and hot fudge sundae featuring chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.

If that doesn’t make your mouth water, we don’t know what will. The peanut butter sauce is everything with this sundae — we could drink it by itself. But the combination of all the flavors coming together is what makes this dessert one of the best you’ll find outside the parks.

Mardi Gras Fritters from Boatwright’s Dining Hall

And finally, we’re heading back to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — but this time going Riverside — and checking out Boatwright’s Dining Hall. These Mardi Gras Fritters are out of this world — made with Panko-covered, deep-fried pimiento cheese topped with pepper jelly. The combination of the rich pimiento cheese and the sweet and spicy pepper jelly is something you don’t want to miss!
