What was the biggest new addition to Disney World in 2022? Arguably, it was Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

The brand-new ride took EPCOT by storm when it opened back in May, and since, guests have been eager to snag a boarding group and launch into space with Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax. In honor of the ride’s initial opening, the nearby Joffrey’s stand offered a special beverage — now that drink has been changed for the holiday season and we’re trying it out!

The World Discovery Joffrey’s stand is located between Connections Eatery and Cosmic Rewind, and it has a similar menu to most of the Joffrey’s locations around the park. But you’ll notice one thing that’s different — the Awesome Drink — Holiday Remix!

This new version of the Awesome Drink is made with frozen lemon ice, Minute Maid lemonade, green apple syrup, and topped up with sweet strawberry popping boba. You can get it for $6.49. Unfortunately, they were all out of the strawberry boba when we stopped by, so ours was simply topped with green ones instead.

The strongest flavor here is definitely the lemonade, with a hint of green apple mixed in. It’s pretty refreshing, and it would be great for a hot day of walking around the park. But honestly, it’s not anything special. However, if you’d like to upgrade it a little bit, you can add Grey Goose vodka for $13.99 total.

The regular version of this drink has the same basic ingredients, but it also has desert pear syrup and chewy green apple jelly stars — definitely a bit more exciting flavor-wise. So if you can’t get the regular version, we recommend saving your money and trying one of the drinks from the Festival of the Holidays instead.
