Disney World is full of delicious food all the time — but the holiday season brings something special to the snacks you’ll find in the parks and resorts.
We’ve been trying all the festive eats and drinks that Disney has released for the holidays, and we’re still going strong. Come with us to Disney’s Contemporary Resort as we check out a new treat you can get without needing a park ticket!
Disney has released a TON of festive holiday treats throughout the parks and resorts, and we recently headed over to Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to try a new sweet treat they’re serving up — the White Chocolate Peppermint Mousse Brownie. It’s made with white chocolate peppermint mousse on a fudge brownie with a white chocolate candy cane for $5.29.
Peppermint fans, this dessert is definitely for you — the peppermint mousse is incredibly light and has a hint of vanilla flavor to it, but the layer of ganache on top packed a SUPER minty punch. We didn’t find it to be too sweet, which is something that can happen with the icing on desserts like this.
The brownie had a rich chocolate flavor to it that helped us feel like we weren’t just eating toothpaste as well. It was on the chewier side, but wasn’t overly dry either. The white chocolate candy cane is cute, but was just a piece of white chocolate and didn’t add much in terms of flavor.
This is a great snack if you’re looking for those classic peppermint and chocolate flavors, but if you’re after something more substantial or less “I just brushed my teeth,” this might be a snack you want to skip!
Head over to Contempo Cafe if you want to get your hands on this dessert! For more holiday snack reviews from Disney World, check out the milkshake we recently tried here, and see where more epic eats are hiding right here.
