The UNEXPECTED Thing That Happened in EPCOT on Christmas Day

Something strange happened in EPCOT on Christmas Day!

EPCOT on Christmas

Generally, crowds in Disney World were a bit weird early in the morning on Christmas, and Individual Lightning Lanes didn’t fill up nearly as quickly as you might have expected. But on top of that, we spotted a long line at an unexpected attraction.

What rides would you expect to have incredibly long lines on Christmas Day in EPCOT? Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure? Frozen Ever After? Maybe even Test Track? While those rides did have long lines, you might be surprised to find another ride in their midst — Mission: SPACE?

Test Track

We found a HUGE line of guests waiting for Mission: SPACE on Christmas Day — specifically for the green side. Looks like no one was willing to get sick after eating Christmas Eve dinner!

WOAH

By around 3:11PM, Mission: SPACE showed a 70-minute wait. To be clear, by that point Test Track was at a 90-minute wait, Soarin’ was at 100 minutes, and both Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure were longer than that.

But at one point, the wait for Mission: SPACE line was about equivalent to the wait for Frozen Ever After and LONGER than Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

It seems Christmas is a popular day to blast into space!
