If you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland Resort in 2023, there are a lot of events to check out!

We’ve got returning food festivals early in the year, plus special After Hours events at select parks that give you access to shorter lines for rides. But if you want the ultimate VIP experience, you’ll want to check out one of the DVC Moonlight Magic events…and we just got details on how to register!

Think of Moonlight Magic like After Hours events specifically for Disney Vacation Club members. These events returned to Disney World in 2022, and now they’re coming back to Disneyland Resort in 2023. The first returning Moonlight Magic will take place at Disney California Adventure on February 1st.

These events can fill up FAST, and if you’re a DVC member who’s interested in going, you’ll want to know the following. Early registration is already open for guests with Disney Resort reservations (at Disneyland Resort) during that time, but general registration will open to all eligible members on January 6th at 11AM Eastern time. 

A member can register themselves and up to 4 guests for this event. If you’re staying in a Disney-owned-and-operated hotel at Disneyland Resort, you can register for the number of guests on your Resort reservation, provided it was finalized before December 25th. The event registration cannot be modified or booked through Member Services — if you wish to modify your party after booking, you can do so at the link in your confirmation email.

Walk-ins are not accepted for these events, and once you register, your tickets and parking pass will be emailed to you. The member who registered the group must be in attendance and provide their DVC membership card and photo ID at check-in. To book, go online to the DVC member event registration page. 

We’re excited to see this event return to the west coast, and hope to see more of these scheduled in the future! Usually attendees can expect complimentary snacks, unique souvenirs, and rare character meets, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
