I love trying new restaurants and treats at Walt Disney World. Most of the time, I only go to the parks to eat and people-watch. A few new locations are coming to property in 2023, and we can’t wait for them to open.
New Dining Locations Coming to WDW
- Roundup Rodeo in Toy Story Land
- The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk
- Rosa Mexicano at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
- Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs
Rosa Mexicano is slated to open in early 2023 and will offer an “elevated fiesta dining experience” featuring Mexican cuisine and awarding winning margaritas. Guests that participated in the 2022 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic could try a few menu items and get a little preview.
Summer House on the Lake will be opening sometime in 2023. We don’t have a menu yet, but the other locations serve California-influenced food spotlighting locally sourced produce and ingredients whenever possible. Their menu features salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, pizzas, and more. Their existing locations in Maryland and Chicago both serve a Weekend Brunch, and we’re hoping they’ll also have it available at their future Disney Springs location.
We have heard a lot about the other two new restaurants, especially since Roundup Rodeo was supposed to open before 2023. The Cake Bake Shop is both a restaurant and bakery and will feature “sweet treats and dreamy desserts.” The shop will offer an afternoon tea service along with separate sweet and savory dessert menus. Which new dining locations opening in 2023 are you excited about?
