A HUGE change is coming to Disney World’s hotels.

We’ve already seen Disney introduce more of its characters into select hotel rooms, announce lobby changes for the iconic Grand Floridian Hotel, and make other updates to its hotels. But now a feature that many fans knew and loved from Disney World visits of the past is coming BACK.

Years ago, overnight self-parking at Disney World’s hotels was FREE for hotel guests. But Disney later changed things and introduced overnight parking fees for those staying at Disney World’s hotels, which vary in cost depending on what level of hotel you’ll be staying at.

Now, things are changing again!

Disney has announced that beginning this evening (January 10th, 2023) overnight self-parking will once again be FREE for guests staying at Disney World’s Resort Hotels.

Disney shared, “This is a Disney difference many of you have asked us to bring back, and we’re happy to reintroduce it to make your vacation a little easier and more affordable.”

So, say “goodbye” to that overnight parking fee at Disney World’s hotels starting tonight!

In terms of other hotel considerations, remember that Disney World Resort Hotel guests also get FREE standard parking at all Disney World theme parks. Plus, those staying at Disney World hotels get access to perks like Early Theme Park Entry, free Disney transportation to the parks, and earlier access to Individual Lightning Lanes.
