If you’re planning on heading over to World of Disney in Downtown Disney to do some shopping, you might want to give yourself extra time!
Ever since the Halloween merchandise arrived earlier this week, Disneyland Resort’s World of Disney’s wait times have skyrocketed!
When we arrived at World of Disney today, the virtual queue had been activated and it was a 45 to 60-minute wait just to step foot inside!
On weekdays we’re used to lining up outside World of Disney WITHOUT entering a virtual queue! Virtual queues are more typical on the weekends at World of Disney when Downtown Disney is usually more crowded, but an hour wait on a Wednesday is pretty UNUSUAL! We have a creeping suspicion the adorable Halloween merch might be the culprit!
We also noticed World of Disney has now swapped its entrance and exit! You’ll now enter by the esplanade and exit by Starbucks since each exit and entrance is now one way only! Once we were called to World of Disney, we still waited in a line that stretched down the store.
And World of Disney isn’t the only place using a Virtual Queue. The Dress Shop and Disney Home are using them as well. Non-Disney-owned location crowds look pretty standard right now. We will keep you updated on crowds at Downtown Disney and al of the merchandise, so stay tuned!
Disneyland is asking guests with reservations between now and September 5th to modify or cancel. Click here to learn more!
