REVIEW: Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company Adds Four New Frost Beverages for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company has created four specialty beverages for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. There are four different types of “frosts” that can be purchased around the various locations, with the base of each drink being a blend of lemonade and frozen lemon ice, and then mixed with different flavorings and topped with matching popping boba pearls.

It’s basically a frozen blue raspberry lemonade. This is much better than the blue raspberry slushes that Disney typically carries in the park. It might be because of the addition of the lemonade.

We wish we had a boba straw for this one, but overall, it’s a decent lemonade drink.

*NEW* Near Canada Pavilion: Magenta Frost – $6.39

This drink is insanely sweet. The frozen lemonade ice and Minute Maid lemonade help balance the sweetness with a bit of tang. But it’s just too sweet for us. The dragon fruit syrup overwhelms the drink.

The dragon fruit popping boba pearls were actually really delicious, and we wish the drink tasted more subtle like the pearls. If you love sweet drinks, this is for you, but we wouldn’t recommend it to those who don’t like something super sweet. We will be skipping this.

*NEW* World Showcase Plaza: Jade Frost – $6.39

This was more frozen on the top of the drink than the bottom, which was either melted or just more liquid. There’s boba on both the top and bottom, which helps give it an even distribution. The green color makes it looks like a Grogu-themed drink, though it’s not necessarily worthy of the beloved character.

We got the alcoholic version, and it tasted like lemonade and vodka primarily. There is an apple flavor that comes through as well, though not quite as strong initially. The more you drink, the more you get the taste of apple.  It would be good on a warm day, but not so much on a cold, drizzly day. Overall, we wouldn’t get it again.

*NEW* World Discovery: Amber Frost – $6.39

An artistic blend of Frozen Lemon Ice, a splash of Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, Blood Orange and Orange Popping Boba Pearls (Non-Alcoholic)

This drink is sweet and very tart. But it’s less sweet than the magenta frost, and we like it better. It has a nice flavor of blood orange. It’s refreshing, so perfect for a hot day.

The boba pearls have a blood orange taste and are delicious. Since the drink is still on the sweet side, we wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like sweet drinks. But the tartness really balances out the drink. Overall, we love the blood orange flavor in this frozen lemonade and would recommend trying it.
