The parking lots at EPCOT have been rethemed to “Space” and “Earth” rather than East and West. Each section is now represented by a character as well.
Earth and Space
The east and west trams are now the Earth and Space trams — although trams have yet to return to EPCOT.
Signs direct guests to Earth and Space tram boarding areas, listing the parking lots those trams visit.
The Space section includes WALL-E, Eve, Rocket, and Gamora. The Eve parking lot is still under construction, but the rest have their new names and signage.
The signs closer to the park entrance have also been updated to include the Earth and Space trams.
“Earth tram” is still missing from a few directional signs.
The Earth section includes HeiHei, Moana, Crush, and Dory.
The characters are all represented by attractions in the park: Rocket and Gamora with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Crush and Dory with The Seas with Nemo & Friends, HeiHei and Moana with the upcoming Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana”, and WALL-E and Eve with the “WALL-E” Green Landing Family Zone.
The directional signs closer to the lots point to exact sections, like “Crush Parking” and “HeiHei Parking.”
The sign at the Earth tram boarding area isn’t quite finished.
It only lists Crush and Dory right now.
Imagine = Wall-E
We recently reported on the installation of sign frames in the lots. They have now been filled in with images of characters and row numbers. WALL-E is the new name of the Imagine lot.
All the signs in the Space section have a blue border.
The endcaps with the old names have been painted over — although the old names and numbers are still visible in some spots.
The new numbers are also in the rows, with arrows, so guests know where they’re parked right away.
Wonder = Gamora
Wonder has become the Gamora lot.
The endcaps here have been repaved but not repainted.
Explore = Rocket
The Explore lot is now the Rocket lot.
Amaze = Moana
Across the tram route, Moana has taken over the Amaze lot.
All of the signs in the Earth lots have green borders.
Journey = HeiHei
Next door, the Journey lot was renamed to HeiHei.
The HeiHei signs are the only ones that are not three-sided. New stickers have just been placed over the previous Journey signs.
The old raised lettering still shows through.
Discover = Crush
Crush has taken over the Discover lot.
Create = Dory
And Create is now Dory.
The Car Locator feature in the My Disney Experience app has also been updated with the new parking lot names (except for Eve).
