What’s New at Animal Kingdom: Clorox Wipes, Leopard Print Loungeflys, and a New Baby Animal!

We’re back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s time to lace up your hiking boots and go on a trek with us as we spot all the changes that have been happening since our last visit! Let’s get moving!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Attraction Updates

First off, we had the pleasure of running into a newborn babirusa! She was on exhibit for her first time in the front of the park!

Baby Bairborsa

She’s only three months old and her name is Kirana — we rather like that name! Welcome to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Baby Kirana!!! We’re glad you’ve arrived!

Rivers of Light

Shortly after Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopened last month, Disney revealed Rivers of Light would not be returning. Now it looks like they’re striking the set!

Rivers of Light

Over by the Rivers of Light seating area, we noticed the shaman boats have now been completely removed from the docks.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Disney World is working on quite a few construction projects at the moment, but this one missed our radar completely until yesterday. A new structure has been freshly built on the savanna! We wonder what it could BE?!

Kilimanjaro Safari’s Structure

The building can be seen near the end of the safari ride. It’s placed in plain view of guests riding the attraction. We’ll continue to monitor its progress and let you know if we find out what it’ll be used for!

See more photos of the new building that’s being constructed on Kilanjaro Safari’s savanna here!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Pandora: The World of Avatar

If you work up a mighty thirst after soaring on the back of a banshee, check out Pandora’s ice cream cart! They’ve just added Angry Orchard to their assortment of liquid refreshments!

Angry Orchard Added

Cans of the hard cider will cost ya $9.75! Of course, you could also hop over to Satu’li Canteen and get a pint of Pandora’s exclusive Mo’ara High Country Ale on draft for $9.25 if you wanna be thrifty and try something a little more unique!

Clorox Wipes

If you’ve been trying to get these cleaning supplies online, you know that’s a pretty good deal! It’s also reassuring to know if we run out of the wipes and hand sanitizer we brought with us, we can now buy some more inside Disney World — that’s if it doesn’t blow off the shelves before we need to restock!
