This is the Best Photo Spot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – For Star Wars Fans

My favorite thing at Walt Disney World is strolling through Hollywood Studios during the evening hours. On my latest walk, I found the best nighttime photo spot. It’s even better if you love Star Wars. The photo opportunity is nestled between the Millenium Falcon and the Milk Stand. If you are walking from Smugglers Run toward the Blue & Green Milk area, the photo spot is on the right-hand side.

At night a PhotoPass photographer is there with lightsabers to make these nighttime Batuu pictures more magical. I have never taken a picture like this, mainly because I save my evening pictures for Sunset Blvd. I love that Tower of Terror backdrop. But I think this is my new favorite photo spot. There was a bit of a line, but only because the photographer, Jeremy, took time with each guest since this is a popular location.

When it was my turn, I was a bit nervous, if I am being honest, because I didn’t know how to pose myself. Thankfully Jeremy was able to help me out with that. He was great at posing with me and walking me through holding the lightsaber. After the photo session, I fell in love with two pictures from it, and it inspired me to take more but with my wife as the photographer.

Star Wars fans, if you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, go to Galaxy’s Edge at night and take photos with a lightsaber. Whether it’s one that a photographer provides or your own, something about it made me feel even more transported into the world of Star Wars. After that mini photoshoot, I was ready to ride Rise of the Resistance and defeat the First Order. I highly recommend doing this if you love the movies and want to feel like you are genuinely part of the story.

I am so glad I finally stumbled across this iconic photo spot while taking an evening stroll at Hollywood Studio. Have you ever participated in this PhotoPass offering? If not, you should. Do you have a favorite photo spot at this park? Is it in front of the Tower of Terror or by Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway? Write your answers in the comments!
