It looks like another one of our favorite Disney World restaurants is fixin’ to reopen SOON!
Despite remaining closed after EPCOT’s reopening last month, Teppan Edo began tinkering with its menu a few weeks ago. This gave us the impression the table service hibachi grill restaurant located in the Japan pavilion might be getting ready to reopen!
And we were right! Teppan Edo has announced it will begin a phased reopening on Monday, August 24th! They’ve listed their temporary hours will be 4PM to 9PM daily and they’ll be serving dinner only at this time.
Teppan Edo has added a new Tsukiji combo meal to its menu which features a tasty combination of both seared scallops and yummy steak! They’ve also added three new desserts including Matcha Tiramisu, Chocolate Tofu Mousse, and Mango Mousse!
We’re curious to see what health and safety modifications Teppan Edo will be making when the restaurant reopens to accommodate Cast Members and guests since meals are prepared tableside and seating is typically communal! We’ll be making a reservation and we’ll let you know about our full experience — coming soon!
There’s a new dining feature on the My Disney Experience app! Click here to learn more!
