If you’re heading to Disney World in 2023, you probably have a lot of planning ahead of you.

From park pass reservations and hotels to Genie+ and dining reservations — it can be overwhelming and add up pretty quickly. Luckily, we’ve eaten at every single restaurant in Disney World and we know which ones are worth your time — and your money. We’ve rounded up the BEST restaurants for the value at Disney World in 2023!

Best Value Table Service Restaurants

Sanaa

One of our favorite places to eat is Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village. This is one of the most unique dining experiences at a Disney World resort, offering African and Indian-inspired dishes.

Besides the food (which is very good), the main reason that you’ll want to visit Sanaa is the view! Just outside the windows while you dine are safari animals! The restaurant is located on the Sunset Savanna where you get to see zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and more. We recommend that you request a window table so you can get the absolute best views of the animals.

If you have the option, we’d recommend grabbing a lunch reservation so you can see the animals better. What makes this restaurant such an amazing deal is that you get the safari animal experience without having to pay for admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s like lunch and a show! In fact, time your visit for a day you don’t have park admission and you can save some SERIOUS cash by enjoying both your meal and the animals around the resort. 

The star of the menu though is the slow-simmered entrees. Think meat or veggies in a rich sauce with rice. This is comfort food done so right.

Entrees include Pojite-inspired Goan Seafood Curry, Butter Chicken, or Braised Beef with Aloo Masala, Chickpea Wat, Cilantro-Coconut Vegetables with scented Basmati Rice ($28). They also have more familiar items like the Sanaa Burger with Spiced Mustard and Peppadew-Goat Cheese served with Sanaa Chips and a Pickle Spear ($18). This is a fairly affordable restaurant, plus you get the Animal Kingdom experience while you dine!

The animal-view is really what makes this a better deal than other restaurants in this price range. Plus, a dining reservation here gives you access to the resort, and if you go walk by the savanna, you can probably get closer to many of the breeds of animals than you can in Animal Kingdom! AND you don’t have to pay for the theme park ticket to get one of the biggest draws of the park. Sounds like a pretty good deal to us!

Garden Grill

Located in The Land pavilion in EPCOT, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at Garden Grill Restaurant is one of the only places you’ll find Mickey Mouse in EPCOT — and he’s joined by Chip, Dale, and Pluto! These four characters provide ample entertainment at this family-style restaurant.

The food is served on platters here, so it’s an all-you-can-eat feast with your family. Since the earliest days of EPCOT Center, this restaurant has had many different styles, but has always been Disney World’s only rotating restaurant. Throughout your meal, you’ll see several of the different scenes from the Living with the Land ride below.

The meal costs $55 per adult and $36 per child, which may not sound super cheap, but it’s actually a great deal for an all-you-can-eat meal at a character dining restaurant. The novelty of this spot makes it even more fun — where else can you dine at a rotating restaurant?

Via Napoli

If you’re looking to dine at a classic EPCOT restaurant in World Showcase, Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion can be a really great deal.

This is probably the most notable pizzeria on Disney World property, and that is a highlight of their menu. And if you get a pizza to share with the group, the cost to dine here will go way down.

Luckily, Via Napoli has a GIANT pizza that can feed many people! There are Individual, Large, and Mezzo Metro sizes for each type of pizza, and the Mezzo Metro size is HUGE for $55. If you split this pizza between a large group, this a great deal. It’s also super fun for your kids, and they will be amazed by the sheer size of this thing!

Via Napoli also has a few pasta dishes ranging from $27-$30, but the pizza is the best bang for your buck here. It IS a pizzeria after all! As one of the most iconic restaurants in World Showcase, we couldn’t help but put this lovable restaurant on the list. There is amazing service here, and the Cast Members treat you like part of the big, Italian family. There are tons of options in EPCOT, but what makes this spot stand out is the lovable atmosphere. Where else can you see super-detailed wood-burning pizza ovens?

Raglan Road

Raglan Road is an authentic Irish pub right in the heart of Disney Springs. And when we say that this pub is authentic, we mean it. The bars and furniture in the pub were actually built in Ireland.

Classic Irish dishes are presented with a contemporary twist, and you’ll enjoy your terrific food and lively craic in a spot that often features live Irish music and dancing. The Rollicking Raglan Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays.

Brunch costs between $20 and $28 a plate, and meals for lunch and dinner generally cost between $24 and $35. The exciting atmosphere and quality of the food make this a great deal in our books.

Story Book Dining at Artist Point

Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a Character Meal at Disney World’s beautiful Wilderness Lodge. Guests enjoy a prix-fixe meal and can look forward to Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy stopping by throughout the dinner. And The Evil Queen is even present for a unique photo opportunity.

Formerly a signature restaurant, Artist Point’s setting and menu have been entirely transformed with a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs theme for this experience. The meal costs $65 per adult and $39 per child. The table will share various appetizers, and everyone picks an entrée and dessert.

Although this meal is more expensive than any counter service spot will cost, the quality of the food and unique characters present make it a great deal, especially if you’re a fan of Disney princesses. And it’s a bit cheaper than Cinderella’s Royal Table — another princess character dining spot.

Wine Bar George

Wine Bar George has become a pretty popular restaurant in Disney Springs. You hear “wine bar” and think of this as a pricier restaurant with an emphasis on wine, but we’re here to tell you that it can actually be a great deal!

For lunch and dinner, guests can grab a variety of small plates including Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites ($14), Hummus ($14), Saganaki on Fire ($16), and even Roasted Beets ($12) if you’re feeling healthy. These aren’t too expensive and they are easily shared among the table. The food here is really, really good. It’s fast become one of our favorite spots in Disney World. Entrées cost between $15 and $19 for lunch, or you can get family-style plates that feed 4 people for $75-$76.

On top of the lovely eats and wine, this gorgeous restaurant has rooftop dining with stunning views of Disney Springs. Want gorg photos of that Aerophile balloon? They gotchu.

This spot has been a DFB favorite for quite some time, and for good reason. Not only is the food amazing and reasonably priced, but the restaurant itself is beautiful. Based on the views and service alone, we feel like we should be paying a lot more for the experience than we actually do! How can you go wrong with a glass of wine, mac & cheese bites, and people-watching from a rooftop table?

‘Ohana

Now let’s talk about a fan favorite — ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! ‘Ohana has been a popular choice for YEARS thanks to its delicious all-you-care-to-eat Polynesian feast served family-style and chill island atmosphere. The noodles here are so famous that when the restaurant reopened without them on the menu, people RIOTED on the internet and get them brought back.

If you’re visiting for breakfast, you can enjoy a character experience with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch. Come here later in the evening, and you might be able to request a window-side table to get amazing views of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom!

Both meals are incredibly popular and hard to get reservations for, so you’ll want to plan in advance. You’ll pay $45 per adult and $29 per child for breakfast, and dinner costs $59 per adult and $38 per child. With all-you-can-eat meals, you can certainly make the meal worth the cost.

Steakhouse 71

Steakhouse 71 opened up at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for the 50th Anniversary in 2021, replacing The Wave on the first floor of the hotel. The new restaurant is a traditional American steakhouse vibe, with varying menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We’re not always the biggest fans of sit-down meals in Magic Kingdom, and if you aren’t either, then this restaurant is just a short walk away, a little reprieve from a busy park day. We have to recommend the burger (it’s a classic!) and the French Onion Soup has been a favorite for many as well.

This spot is surprisingly affordable for a sit-down Disney World restaurant, especially if you visit for lunch. That burger that we love is only $21, and the rest of the entrées cost between $16 and $26. Dinner is a bit more expensive, but the steak is still cheaper than most other steak houses in Disney World. For example, a 6-oz. filet mignon is $38 here, compared to $62 at Le Cellier.

Skipper Canteen

Magic Kingdom is full of classic snacks like Mickey pretzels, Dole Whip, and hand-dipped corn dogs, but one restaurant in Adventureland offers up some really unique food — Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen.

The menu may seem only for the most adventurous eaters but there’s actually a wide range of options (once you get past the punny names!). Guests can grab entrées like Irrawaddy Irma’s Hanger Steak ($38), “Hardy Har Char” Siu Pork ($28), or opt for something a little more unique like the Sustainable Fish. This dish is “Not Piranha” (AKA — whatever fresh, sustainable fish is readily available at the time) served on a Cassava Fritter with Wilted Greens and a Guava-Habanero Sauce for $32. We even listed this as one of the most dangerous things to eat in Disney World!

There are entrées with African, Asian, and Latin twists with a healthy dose of Jungle Cruise puns mixed in. The price is not bad at all for the amount and quality of food that you get. If you are a Jungle Cruise fan, you’ll adore the story and decor of this restaurant. The restaurant itself is said to be a repurposed tropical headquarters that now feeds hungry Skippers and their crew. It’s chocked full of Jungle Cruise memorabilia and details, so this is a must-see for people who love the opening day attraction!

And of course it wouldn’t be a Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant without a witty server hitting you with all the dad jokes you can handle. This spot is a lot of fun, so come ready to laugh. As much as we love our standard Disney food, there is nowhere else like Skipper Canteen in the parks. The theming is impeccable, and there are so many hidden details in the restaurant. We’d almost count this as both a restaurant and an attraction, especially for HUGE Jungle Cruise fans! Compared to other table-service restaurants in the park, the atmosphere is original and exciting, and the dining experience is truly a fun one.

Best Value Quick Service Restaurants

Satu’li Canteen

Satu’li Canteen is a popular quick service spot in the Pandora section of Animal Kingdom. This place serves up bowls with a ton of food!

They range in price from $12.99 to $17.49 and you can choose between slow-roasted sliced grilled beef, chopped wood-grilled chicken, chili-garlic shrimp, chili-spiced crispy fried tofu, or a combo of beef and chicken. You also get to choose your base, between things like rice and beans, noodles, or mixed greens, as well as your sauce. Then, the bowls are topped with vegetable slaw and boba balls. It’s a LOT of food that’s fresh and filling.

You can also get the famous cheeseburger steamed pods, which are bao buns filled with your classic cheeseburger fillings and served with veggie slaw and chips for $13.29. It’s a great meal or snack to split!

Flame Tree Barbecue

Moving on in Animal Kingdom, let’s check out Flame Tree Barbecue on Discovery Island! Here you can find things like chicken, ribs, pulled pork, and baked macaroni and cheese. The entrees are between $11.79 and $16.49 and come with a lot of food.

The meat-focused entrees come with baked beans AND coleslaw, or you can get an extra side of things like onion rings or fries for $4.49. These are hearty meals that will fill you up and are also great to share.

Special shout out to the Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork that comes with onion rings and coleslaw on top for just $12.49 — it’s a wonderful snack to share or a meal for one!

Woody’s Lunch Box

Woody’s Lunch Box is over in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and serves up some favorites you might’ve had in your school lunch when you were a kid, like grilled cheese or a turkey sandwich. But, these are a bit more elevated than what you might’ve found in your elementary school cafeteria!

The grilled cheese actually has a blend of three cheeses (which are amazing, by the way), and the turkey sandwich is smoked and comes with a dijonnaise on multi-grain bread. You can also get a BBQ Brisket Melt or the fan-favorite “Totchos.” These are potato barrels (Tater Tots) topped with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, and queso with tomatoes, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions. The best part? They’re only about $10!

All of the entrees here are between about $10-$14. Breakfast is even less expensive, with a breakfast version of the Totchos for just $8.79. And, for a snack or a dessert to your meal, you can get a Lunch Box Tart for under $5. They come in a variety flavors and are definitely big enough to share!

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie

Les Halles is a French patisserie in the (you guessed it) France Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase. It’s basically a bakery that serves pastries but also things like soups and sandwiches. There are a LOT of options here, so you can pick and choose what makes up your ideal meal or snack.

Sandwiches range in price from $6.95-$9.75, but there are also things like lobster bisque in a bread bowl for just $5.95, Quiche Lorraine for $7, or a FULL baguette fresh from the oven for just $3.50! This is also THE spot to get something sweet that won’t break the bank. A plain croissant is just $2.95, a chocolate croissant is $3.80, and a creme brûlée is only $4.95.

But, do know that this place is pretty popular! You might have to wait in a decent-sized line to get some food. You can try to get there as soon as they open up though to beat the crowds.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

If you’re looking for some barbecue in EPCOT, Regal Eagle is the place to go! It’s over in the American Adventure pavilion and is one of the newer spots in World Showcase. They have a real smoker outside, an outdoor bar, and indoor and outdoor seating for you to use. It’s themed after Sam Eagle from The Muppets, and you can find fun little Easter eggs around the space!

Like we said, this place has all kinds of barbecue, from pulled pork to brisket to smoked chicken. They also have several different kinds of sauces, like North Carolina vinegar or classic Texas brisket sauce. The portions here are a decent size too — they’ll definitely give you a good foundation as you make your way around EPCOT! These are hearty meals that will fill you up.

The entrees here are between $9.50-$16.50 and come with things like garlic toast and a side. Sides here are filling as well with things like macaroni and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, or beer-battered onion rings. So, you can get a lot of food for your money, and you can easily split that food with someone else if you want to!

Columbia Harbour House

Columbia Harbour House is a popular seafood spot located in Liberty Square. Entrees run between $10.49 and $16.99, but that $16.99 entree is a large Lobster Roll served with French Fries! For Just $15.99 you can get a New England Shrimp Boil that comes with shrimp, potatoes, corn, and andouille sausage served with warm Parker house rolls (YUM!).

Or, you can get a grilled salmon or grilled shrimp meal for $14.29. Can’t decide? Get a trio with fried shrimp, chicken strips, battered fish, hushpuppies, AND your choice of a side for $14.29. That’s a LOT of food that’s easily shareable.

If you want something smaller but still filling, you can get a bowl of New England Clam Chowder for $6.79, or a side of just hushpuppies for $4.49 — that sounds like a great lunch to us!

Chicken Guy

Chicken Guy! is celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s restaurant in Disney Springs that serves up chicken tenders! Listen, sometimes you just need some good chicken tenders and fries, and this is the place to get them. You can get 3 for $5.99 or 5 for $7.99. Get ’em fried or grilled and they come with your choice of two signature sauces!

The sauces are a big deal here — there are over 20 to choose from, and you can get additional flavors for just 50 cents. There are also some sandwiches here that range from $6.99 to $7.99, or you can make it a combo for $12.49 which comes with fries and a drink. A chicken sandwich in Disney World for $7? That’s pretty great!

The sides here a hefty too, so they can make a great snack, like the Mac Daddy Mac ’N’ Cheese for $4.49 or the Loaded Fries for $7.99.

Gasparilla Island Grill

Gasparilla Island Grill is a quick service spot at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This spot offers a diverse menu during all meal times. Outdoor seating is cafe-style and offers a beautiful view of the Grand Floridian marina with Cinderella Castle in the distance, while the indoor seating features roomy booths and tables in a peaceful and bright setting.

Entrance to the restaurant is located on the 1st floor from the Resort’s outdoor paths. Resort mugs with unlimited refills from Gasparilla’s beverage station are available. (And take it from us that you should always take a moment to peek in the bakery case and be on the lookout for some seasonal goodies!)

One of the BEST things to get at this restaurant is the House-made Macaroni & Cheese, which costs $9.29. Trust us, you do NOT want to miss this mac & cheese. Other lunch entrées include various flatbread pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. All of the entrées cost between $9.29 and $14.49, and some come with sides like french fries.

Dinner brings a few more diverse options to the table, like the Mojo Chicken and Seitan bowls for $15.49 each. And during breakfast time, you can find Mickey waffles, breakfast platters, and egg sandwiches here, which cost between $8.99 and $12.99. Overall, it’s a great place to eat, the food is super tasty, and it’s not going to break the bank.

Capt. Cook’s

At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can find Capt. Cook’s! This spot offers unique island-inspired quick service meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual, yet fun, environment.

For breakfast, Capt. Cook’s serves up a signature dish among its offerings: Tonga Toast! Breakfast is between $9.99 and $12.99 per entrée (with the Tonga Toast costing $10.49). Polynesian favorites (like an Aloha Pork Sandwich and the very tasty Pulled Pork Nachos) along with classic quick service eats like burgers, are served for lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner will cost between $9.99 and $12.79.

While you can always pick up a cupcake or pastry here, too, don’t forget that you can grab a Dole Whip for dessert right next door at Pineapple Lanai!

Best Value Lounges

Geyser Point

Geyser Point Bar & Grill — located near the Copper Creek Springs Pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge — is a unique space in that it offers two different kinds of service for guests… all in one cozy and lovely setting. Geyser Point blends two different dining styles (a Table Service lounge and a Quick Service walk-up counter) and two different menus.

The Featured Cocktail list at the lounge boasts beverages unique to Geyser Point featuring spirits from Northwest distilleries in keeping with the theme of the Resort. Hearty appetizers can be ordered from the lounge as well, while full entrees are available at the connected Counter Service.

The open air restaurant offers gorgeous waterfront views, and a fireplace for cool evenings. Small plates here cost between $5 and $18 each, and more hearty eats will be between $12 and $21. You’ll see options like chicken wings, barbecue brisket dip, charcuterie, burgers, and more.

Nomad Lounge

One of our favorite places to eat in Animal Kingdom is Nomad Lounge. This lounge is attached to Tiffins, but is much more low-key, with casual couch and lounge chair seating both indoors and outdoors on the porch. If you sit next to the water, you might be treated to a great view of the flotillas going by on the Discovery River.

The menu here changes from time to time, but there are plenty of drink options, including non-alcoholic mocktails, as well as a number of small plates. There’s typically some kind of slider offering as well as a bowl, along with other seasonal and limited-time specialties. Either way, it’s almost always delicious!

Small plates cost between $9 and $16, and they’re definitely shareable as snacks. Cocktails run from $14 to $17, and you can find a few mocktails on the menu that cost between $5 and $8. We highly recommend getting the churros here, which come with a couple of tasty dipping sauces! And don’t forget that the Tiffins Bread Service is available — it’s a must-try if you haven’t had it before.

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Downstairs from ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort isTrader Sam’s Grog Grotto, the one-of-a-kind bar and lounge. Behind the unassuming door, you’ll find all kinds of fun antics, from zany bartenders to sinking stools and special effects when you order certain drinks from the menu.

It’s truly a wild experience, one that we highly recommend checking out at least once! They’ve got a few small plates and appetizers for those hoping for some sustenance, but their over-the-top drink menu is where they really shine.

Drinks here run from $14 to $22 for most drinks, with a couple of specialty cocktails priced higher than that. Appetizers are between $10 and $18 per plate. The eats and drinks aren’t super cheap, but the atmosphere more than makes up for the cost.

Tambu Lounge

Want to get some of the best ‘Ohana eats without paying full price for a meal there? Then head to Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Here, you can get appetizers like sushi, pot stickers, wings, and ribs, and if you ask nicely, you can even get a bowl of ‘Ohana noodles.

Don’t forget the drinks! The bartenders are great and friendly, and sipping a signature Lapu Lapu (a rum drink served in a fresh pineapple) is always memorable.

Appetizers cost between $13 and $18, and cocktails are between $12 and $20. This is a great place to kill some time and relax, or you can use it as a full meal by getting a few appetizers to share.

Steakhouse 71 Lounge

Speaking of popular eats for cheap, you can stop by the Steakhouse 71 Lounge to find many of our favorite Steakhouse 71 meals without needing to book a reservation.

The Steakhouse 71 Lounge features its own unique menu of small plates and drinks, along with a few of the items from the main restaurant’s menu. With a large rectangular bar and 70s-inspired retro theming in keeping with the restaurant, the Steakhouse Lounge is a great spot to enjoy before or after your meal at Steakhouse 71, or a lovely respite in which to relax anytime.

Lounge Bites include items such as Loaded Macaroni & Cheese, Lump Crab Cakes, and even PB&J Chicken Wings. Our beloved Stack Burger is available here as well, along with the iconic Bacon and Eggs. Cocktails feature the Steakhouse 71 Vodka Gimlet, Citrus Grove Cocktail, and a Tequila Sunrise with a modern twist.

Lounge bites are between $10 and $21, and most cocktails cost between $13.50 and $17.50.

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

The Hollywood Brown Derby is a popular restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but did you know that you can get the restaurant’s most iconic dish without making a reservation? Just head to the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge and order the famous Cobb Salad for $22.

There are more lounge bites on the menu here, like a charcuterie board, shrimp cocktail, and sliders. They cost between $16 and $22 per plate.

You can also find some mocktails on the menu for $6 each, or try cocktails that range from $14 to $18. If you want the classic Hollywood Brown Derby experience without paying full price for the restaurant, this is a great option!
