Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen has reopened in Downtown Disney District amidst an ongoing refurbishment. It is not yet going by its new name, Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio.
Construction walls still block the first-floor seating. Right now, guests are only allowed to dine on the second floor.
The menu looks about the same, but it will eventually be updated to incorporate “vibrant California energy” while staying true to the heart of New Orleans.
A sign says “We are evolving in real time. Enjoy a first peek at our exciting new decor and look for updates soon!” The new name and look are part of the ongoing reimagining of Downtown Disney District.
The second floor has new tables, chairs, and string lighting, which we got a closer look at earlier this month.
After the refurbishment is complete, the express window will be open as Beignets Expressed.
