Have you ever heard of the seasonal pop-up experience Pixar Putt? It’s been touring around a few different countries for a couple of years now, opening in locations like the United States of America, Singapore, and Australia. The tour usually occurs during school breaks, giving parents in different cities a little bit of Disney magic during their vacation break. A few weeks back, we drove up to Sydney, here in Australia, and enjoyed some of the newly designed holes that Pixar Putt has to offer, and I have to tell you, it was incredible.
The 18-hole course included themed mini golf holes inspired by all our favorite Pixar films, Toy Story, Coco, Finding Nemo, Cars, and Inside Out. There were even new additions from Soul, Turning Red, and Lightyear.
But the best part was, by far, wandering through as the first ones waiting (we totally rope-dropped that thing, Disney Parks style) and hearing the musical sound effects that accompanied each of the holes. Perfectly in theme with each one was that uniquely Disney ability to transport you from one world to another even if they are only a few feet apart. The sound the aliens make as you near the Toy Story hole can be contagious, and we found ourselves impersonating them for the rest of the day.
Of course, we took heaps of photos to give you all a closer look if you haven’t had a chance to experience it for yourself just yet. Check them out below:
If you are looking for a way to get a dash of Disney magic in between visits to your favorite Disney Park, definitely visit Pixar Putt the next time it is in town. You can sign up for alerts when new locations are scheduled on the website here.
