The exit to Universal Studios Florida has been blocked off by construction walls and we anticipate they will be getting new scanners that can be used as entrances during busy days. We saw Islands of Adventure do something similar with their new, themed entry points.
The exit has been rerouted through the It’s A Wrap store.
As per usual for Universal Orlando Resort construction walls, they are decorated with retro movie posters.
There were walls around the small park entrance near Guest Services, but those have come down now, and it looks like we have a glimpse of what the new scanners will look like.
This entrance used to be for Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholders only. More scanners have been added. There are two small podiums, each with one scanner, on the sides of the entryway. One large podium at the center has two scanners.
These pink boxes aren’t as thrilling as the ones at Islands of Adventure, but we’ll take anything that gets us into the park faster.
