The Complete Guide to Eating at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Have you been sleeping on what may be Disney World’s most beautiful hotel?

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

We’re talking about Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s deluxe resort which takes its theming from the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. More importantly, though, there is some AMAZING food here, and we’re going to tell you ALL about it!

Territory Lounge

If you’re looking for a quiet and cozy lounge where you can grab a drink and DELICIOUS small bites, Territory Lounge is where you’ll want to go. The theme here is rustic, and you might get so comfortable here you may never want to leave. This is why Territory Lounge is one of our favorite bars in Disney World.

Territory Lounge

The cocktails here are TOP notch, and this is where you can get a S’mores Old Fashion, which is made with Elijah Craig 12yr Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Toasted Marshmallow, and Chocolate Bitters. This is such a fun twist to the classic Old Fashioned, and we love it.

The food here, though, is unique AND tasty. We’re especially fond of the Bone and Brie, which is Roasted Bone Marrow with Honey-baked Brie and Marion Berry-Onion Jam. It might sound adventurous, but believe us, that bone marrow is smooth and buttery and is great with the brie and jam.

Territory Lounge also has an excellent Artisanal Cheese and Charcuterie Board, which has a variety of cheese, meats, and handcrafted breads. You know us, we’re never going to turn down good charcuterie.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill

Geyser Point Bar & Grill is unique in that it offers a table service restaurant, AS WELL as quick service walk-up counter. So you can choose to dine in a rustic open-air restaurant with gorgeous water views or you can just grab your food to go and take it to one of the MANY scenic locations throughout the resort.

Whatever you decide, you will NOT be disappointed with the food. There’s one thing here over EVERYTHING else that almost our entire team recommends and it’s the Bison Bacon Cheeseburger. It comes topped with bacon, sweet crispy onion straws, marionberry sauce, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli and is served with a side of crispy lightly-battered waffle fries. It’s flavorful, hearty, and always something we’ll order here.

Other stand-outs here on the menu include the Handcrafted Cheese and Charcuterie and the Crispy Salmon Croquettes.

Roaring Fork

Roaring Fork is a counter service location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a quiet and rustic setting. Seriously, this is probably one of the most chill counter service spots in Disney World, but a lot of that has to do with its location at Wilderness Lodge — this resort is SO relaxed.

Roaring Fork

For breakfast, this is where you’ll go for your Mickey Waffles, as well as pastries, breakfast platters, and more. For lunch and dinner, you can enjoy some comfort food like BBQ, Meatloaf, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more. However, it’s the desserts and fun seasonal snacks that often have us traveling here!

So if you’re looking for comfort food and great desserts, be sure to stop by Roaring Fork!

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Don’t let Whispering Canyon Cafe’s name fool you, it is ANYTHING but quiet. In fact, here’s where you want to dine for some outright FUN, thanks to the antics of servers who will do what it takes to make you laugh.  This is one of the MOST fun places to have a meal in Disney World, and should be a must on anyone’s list, at least once! Whatever you do, don’t ask for ketchup (actually do, IT’S TOTALLY WORTH IT.)

But this isn’t just a fun place to eat — the food here is solid, too, and there’s plenty of it, especially if you order up a skillet. Breakfast skillets include Mickey waffles and delicious meats, potatoes, and other hearty fare. We’re especially fond of The Heritage, which comes with DIVINE House-made Buttermilk-Cheddar Biscuits. There’s also an a la carte menu.

These BISCUITS

You can also grab some delicious skillets for lunch and dinner, but we like ordering from the a la carte menu to get the ‘Burnt Ends’ Nachos, which are topped with Topped with Beef Brisket, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Cheese Sauce, and Fresh Salsa. Y’all, those nachos are GOOD.

There are plenty of other dishes available here, too including plant-based options and things that can satisfy children and picky eaters.

Artist Point

Can you combine fine dining with a character dining experience? Artist Points says yes! At one point this restaurant was a signature restaurant, but now it’s Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. So you’ll still be dining on delicious foods, but you’ll also get to meet Snow White, the Dwarves, and the Evil Queen while you’re doing it.

The Evil Queen

This is a prix fixe meal that gives you a choice of entree and shared appetizers and desserts for the table. The Wild Mushroom Bisque is always an excellent choice for a starter and is one of our favorite Disney World soups. The Royal Prime Rib Roast is also a big hit with our team — it’s served with Horseradish-Mashed Potato, Carrots, and Jus.

There’s also a selection of four Snow White-themed desserts — we really like the Miner’s Treasures and the Hunter’s Gift to the Queen — both are actually an assortment of treats. Hey, we love variety!

Even if you’re not staying at Wilderness Lodge, we recommend taking a day off from the parks to explore the resort and enjoy some of its amazing food — you won’t regret it!
