Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is officially open in Disneyland, but we’re still waiting for the rest of the reimagined Toontown to reopen to guests!

The updated land was supposed to reopen on March 8th, but Disney just announced that that date is being pushed back.

The Orange County Register reported that a Disneyland official made the announcement: “Due to heavy winter storms that impacted our construction momentum, we are adjusting the reopening date of Mickey’s Toontown to March 19. We can’t wait for our Guests to visit and experience the reimagined land.”

The new reopening date is pushed back a couple of weeks from the expected date of March 8th, so make sure you adjust your plans if you had previously arranged to be there for the reopening.

In 2021, Disney announced the “ambitious reimagining of Mickey’s Toontown” in Disneyland park. Mickey’s Toontown closed on March 9, 2022, to begin the land’s transformation.
