The big day has arrived!
The 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has officially kicked off in Disney World and we’re here to show you everything there is to do! We’re excited to try out all of the new and returning eats, see the character topiaries, and experience all that the festival has to offer. So how do you keep track of what’s happening at the festival? We’ve got a first look at this year’s festival passport!
When you enter EPCOT, you’ll be able to pick up this special festival passport, which is a booklet that acts as your guide to the festival. We grabbed a copy of the passport when we walked into the park and the cover is just as vibrant as the festival! It’s giving strong citrus vibes, with shades of green, orange, and yellow, and a bouquet of fruit, flowers, and veggies exploding from behind the logo.
Let’s take a look inside the passport! First, you’ll be greeted by the welcome page. This goes over what information you can find inside your passport, and includes a page telling you about different tours you can take throughout the festival, both guided and self-guided. The English Tea Garden in the United Kingdom Pavilion is a can’t-miss!
Next up are the different activities and attractions for kids that are unique to the festival. There are two different scavenger hunts as well as other activity areas to keep them entertained while you’re snacking your way from food kitchen to food kitchen.
Your festival passport will also tell you what topiaries you’ll see and where to find them. It’s easy to get caught up in all of the festival attractions that you just might miss them, so this is extremely helpful for finding your favorite characters.
It wouldn’t be a Flower and Garden Festival without the gardens! These pages will tell you what types of gardens you can find throughout EPCOT.
Looking to get some shopping done? There are several collections available during the Flower and Garden Festival and this merchandise page will tell you where to find them. If you love Orange Bird, get your wallet ready!
If you love live music you don’t want to skip the Garden Rocks Concert Series. Held at the America Gardens Theatre, there are three shows on concert nights and you can scan the QR code to see which artists are coming (or check out our page here!). This page also tells you about the Festival Gift Cards. These are a great way to budget because it’s easy to run up a hefty sum visiting the food kitchens! Gift cards are a handy way to set a limit (although they are reloadable), plus they come with a wristband for easy access. Lastly, this page has the key for the food kitchen guide, which means …
It’s time to look at the food kitchen pages! Every food kitchen is listed along with where you can find it, what items they have, and what the ingredients are. Some include pictures and fun facts too! The first page has the specialty Joffrey’s drinks for the festival as well as the offerings at Connections Cafe and Eatery.
Next up is Sunshine Seasons and The Land Cart in World Nature. The Honey Bee-Stro Hosted by the National Honey Board can be found near Port of Entry.
Nearby is where you’ll also find Pineapple Promenade (perfect for DOLE Whip-lovers!) as well as the plant-based Trowel & Trellis.
Over by the Canada Pavilion you can check out the iconic Refreshment Port, and inside the Pavilion is Northern Bloom.
France’s food kitchen is Fleur de Lys, and nearby you’ll find La Isla Fresca.
Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina is in Morocco and Hanami, the home of Frushi, is in Japan.
For American fare head over to Magnolia Terrace and the Funnel Cake booth! Primavera Kitchen in the Italy Pavilion serves up fresh pasta dishes.
Want to taste test some authentic German beers? Stop by Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market! The Refreshment Outpost has some tasty snakes and beverages too.
Lotus House is the food kitchen in China, while Jardin de Fiestas can be found in Mexico.
Over by Disney Traders is Florida Fresh which serves up plenty of fruit and veggie dishes. Inside the Odyssey is The Citrus Blossom, where you can buy the souvenir Orange Bird Sipper!
The newest booth to the festival is Brunchcot, which can be found around the walkway near Test Track. Nearby is EPCOT Farmers Feast, which features a rotating menu.
While you’re sampling the variety of cuisines from around the park, why not take part in the Garden Graze? This edible scavenger hunt allows you to collect a special (and tasty!) prize after purchasing 5 menu items from the qualifying booths that are part of Garden Graze.
And that’s it! You can pick up your own Festival Passport when you visit EPCOT during the Flower and Garden Festival.
You can also find this information in the My Disney Experience app, however, this booklet keeps it all in one convenient spot!
