Toontown is almost back, Disneyland fans!
We’re counting down the days until March 19th when Toontown will finally reopen to the public after its lengthy refurbishment. We’ve already gotten to ride the land’s new attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but now there’s more news — new FOOD has just been announced!
Disney has announced that TONS of new eats will be coming to the new dining location in Toontown, Café Daisy. Cafe Daisy will be a sidewalk table eatery serving up diner classics counter service style. Guests who have previously visited Toontown may recall Daisy’s Diner (which served pizza), Pluto’s Dog House (offering hot dogs, of course!), and Clarabelle’s (a cold treats and frozen yogurt spot). Cafe Daisy will combine all three spots into one!
To start off with some drinks, you can grab the Picnic Time Watermelon Lemonade, which is made with Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade, watermelon premium syrup, and watermelon gummies. Coffee lovers will also want to check out the Specialty Cold Brrr-ew made of Caramel Mudslide Cold Brew from Joffrey’s with sea salt and whipped topping.
Kiddos will also love the Cheese Please! Pizza with cheese and tomato sauce and the Pepperoni Please! Pizza made with pepperoni, cheese, and tomato sauce. Or they can enjoy Minnie’s Mini Corn Dogs and the Mini Mac and Cheesy.
Plant-based eaters have an option here too — the Spring Garden Wrap, which combines romaine and quinoa into a wrap with a creamy lemon dressing and toasted pumpkin seeds. It also comes with house-made chips!
Adult pizza lovers may love the Cheesy Pizza Flop-Over and Pepperoni Pizza Flop-Over. These are essentially pizzas with mozzarella, provolone, and tomato sauce (and pepperoni) in a fold-over style — there are also allergy-friendly options if needed!
For more adventurous eaters, you can grab the Daisy’s Dressed-up Dog — an all-beef foot-long hot dog, chili-cheese sauce, mac & cheese, and parmesan potato crispies with house-made chips. You can also grab a more simple hot dog, The Daisy Dog, which is an all-beef foot-long hot dog served with chips.
You can also grab the Toontown ‘Tater Chips t– house-made chips with chili-cheese sauce — or snag the Daisy’s Goody-Goody Donuts with cinnamon sugar to finish out your meal.
And those are the new eats you can expect to see in Toontown! You’ll also be able to grab some eats at Good Boy! Grocers, but at this time, we aren’t sure what we can expect from this spot.
Stay tuned to DFB — we’ll be in the park on the day of reopening to try all the new items!
